A beautiful, mansion-style venue
We really wanted to have our reception in an old mansion in Vancouver, but couldn't find one big enough for 125 guests. The VRC was a perfect blend of space and that old-fashioned style. It was a little tight for our size of wedding in the Harbour Room, but we made it work by renting the Trophy Lounge as well. The wrap-around deck overlooking the city was a perfect place for our guests to get some air too! We have no regrets about this beautiful venue for our big day.Sent on 26/09/2018

Working with the staff, Carla and J.J., at the Vancouver Rowing Club to coordinate and plan our wedding was very easy due to their professionalism and friendliness. J.J., the bar manager, made sure that drink options were to our satisfaction and assembled an amazing staff for the day of our wedding. Communication with the events coordinator was very easy and they were able to answer any of our questions promptly. The venue itself is located in such a beautiful setting and provided us with wonderful city and park venues. We felt it was the perfect place for a Vancouver wedding and it made our wedding day even more special.Sent on 08/08/2018

Vancouver Rowing Club was absolutely amazing! We loved that it was right on the seawall and you get the perfect feel and view of Vancouver. Nicole, the event manager, was really responsive and flexible with our needs. This venue is kind of a bare basics type of deal? Just chairs and table ... and you can really jazz it up and make it your own or have it as is (which IMO is not as nice). But the options are all there! They make their money through their bar, so you have to do your drinks through them which is fair. And you have the option of open bar or cash bar, which is quite standard in Vancouver. I absolutely loved them and highly recommend it!Sent on 03/09/2016

I am so happy we had our Wedding at the Vancouver Rowing Club (VRC). It was a beautiful venue and a perfect location. We had both the Ceremony and Reception at the VRC. We had about 136 guests and it was a perfect fit. Lindsay and her team and Nicole from Emelles Catering were amazing to work with. They went over and above on the day of and during the planning, they answered all my emails and questions. Trust me I had lots of questions. They were accommodating and you could tell that they have experience working with Brides. We went back and forth with the menu and decoration options and both Lindsay and Nicole worked with me through it all. They were professional and easy going from the start. All the staff were friendly and fun and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. I would definitely recommend the Vancouver Rowing Club.Sent on 12/10/2014
