Had a wonderful, laid-back standing cocktail wedding reception for 80 in the Founders' Lounge. The planning process was smooth and simple. Everything went smoothly on the day of, the food was wonderful, and the staff was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and so did our guests!

We had our wedding at Heritage Park in January, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. While I didn't get the original room I wanted due to a minimum capacity requirement, the space we did have was absolutely gorgeous.

Throughout the planning process, I worked with three different event coordinators, but communication was smooth, and they ensured my questions were answered promptly. Like many venues, there were a lot of additional fees, and I did feel a bit nickel-and-dimed. However, the overall price was still reasonable, and they were flexible with payments and setup arrangements.

Unfortunately, the day itself didn’t go as smoothly as promised. There was supposed to be someone available to direct guests, but the designated entrance was locked, and security was nowhere to be found. The on-site event coordinator was also missing when needed, which created unnecessary confusion, especially for guests who had accessibility concerns. Additionally, while we appreciated having a private patio and bathrooms, one of the two stalls in the women’s restroom wasn’t functioning, leading to long lines.

On the positive side, the catering team accommodated dietary restrictions at no extra cost, and the meal itself was delicious. While our bartender wasn’t the friendliest, our guests still had an amazing time, and the venue generously rectified some of the issues by waiving a fee, which we really appreciated.

Despite the hiccups, our wedding was an epic success, and I would still recommend Heritage Park as a venue. Just be prepared to advocate for your needs and double-check the details to ensure a seamless experience!

We had a few hick up’s.. they scheduled Alberta days at the park and there for caused some extra stress but because this was not heritage parks fault they did everything they could to ensure our day went smoothly

They were in contact with me constantly and were more than happy to fulfill any and all requests. I would be more than happy to have more events there in the future

We had such a perfect day, we chose to do a morning wedding and a brunch afterwards. The food was incredible, and the venue was absolutely beautiful! We had great communication with our event coordinator and they were very accommodating with our requests and set up.

We highly recommend this place. The view is excellent and you can choose among there venue for the wedding as the park has variety of beautiful spot. Jackie Wilcox and Brenda Belick were both very helpful with all the processing and very flexible with our request.
I cannot thank you enough for making our experience a wonderful one. You ladies are the best in your craft.

Having our wedding here was so amazing and our guests had so much fun as we rented the Farris wheel during the cocktail hour. There were a few hidden costs throughout the process, but nothing that would hinder the overall experience. Having our wedding here really exemplified us as a couple and it was so fun!

We were looking for a reasonably priced venue for a small wedding and the Dairy Barn was perfect. We paid to have the photo escort to take our pictures in the park and it was so worth it. Our photos are beautiful, the food was good, and the staff was great. One server even held my train for me before I walked down the aisle to make sure it was straight. Would recommend this venue for sure.

I couldn't be happier with the service received from heritage park, not to mention our guests days later are still complimenting the food and venue for its overall quality. I would definitely recommend heritage park to anyone for their wedding ceremony and reception!
