University of Alberta Botanic Garden

My husband and I decided a week before that we wanted to get married as we are currently expecting twins. I did some googling and came across the micro wedding feature for here and emailed them. Danielle emailed me back that same evening and we luckily got a spot! The golf cart service was amazing and the location was better than I could have imagined. It was the perfect day. We had a quick ceremony as we eloped and the staff agreed to be our witnesses. It was beyond perfect!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny. We got married at the Aga Khan Gardens and it was incredible. The best location for my dream wedding. We had our ceremony live streamed and the venue looks amazing. All our photos in the amphitheater and around the gardens are so beautiful. I couldn’t of picked a better place to get married. I loved that they had a great rain back up plan at the pine pavilion. The staff was amazing at the gardens and they had big golf carts to take the wedding party to different photo locations after the ceremony. The staff did a great job greeting and directing guests and making sure we had everything we needed. The location is not too far from Edmonton. I stayed in an Airbnb 20 mins from Devon and my husband stayed in St. Albert the night before. It is definitely doable wherever you live in Edmonton and is worth the drive. All our guests were blown away by ceremony and we got so many compliments on our venue choice. Highly recommend this venue, you will not regret it!!

Highly recommend the Gardens for any wedding ceremony! We got married in the Aga Khan amphitheatre and it was a perfectly private ceremony. Danielle and her team were so easy to work with, and they answered all of our questions - despite having a million of them. They were willing to work with us around the uncertain Covid summer restrictions, which made the whole process easier to handle. On the day of, they made sure that our area was blocked off from other visitors, and they were also fantastic in letting us store some of our ceremony decor overnight so our coordinator could do her thing. A beautiful location and a fantastic team to work with, it made our day absolutely perfect!

We booked the Aga Khan garden for our wedding and after wedding ceremony cocktails. It was a gorgeous venue that all of our guests raved about and that we were able to get some really amazing photos at too. Highly recommend!

We had a huge rain storm during our ceremony so we were moved to the tent. It was small and I felt super rushed. Barely getting off the gold cart straight to waking down the isle. Danielle, one of the event coordinators at the gardens was very helpful and she was doing her best do make sure my bridal party got the least wet as possible. She has blankets and umbrellas to help us. I love the gardens. I just wish the weather would have cooperated.

I booked them well in advance and right from the first day I went in to check out the venue to the day of the wedding I knew we were in good hands. The staff there is so knowledgeable and easy to deal with - they were so prepared for everything! I ended up with perfect weather but I knew that even if it rained they would take good care of me and their rain back up is just as beautiful!
