Martha's Heli Hikes and Heli Weddings is a mountain top wedding venue which adventurous couples can fly to!

Elevate your wedding day to lofty mountain heights! Just 8 minutes by helicopter above Canmore, Alberta, Martha's Heli Hikes and Heli Weddings holds a permit to land at five distinct sites upon the lush meadows and rocky ridges of Mt Charles Stewart.

Up to 24 passengers are dropped off and picked up several hours later. Martha is both an ACMG guide (required for this wilderness experience) and an Alberta marriage commissioner. Why use two precious seats when you can just use one? Please note we cannot accommodate more than the wedding couple and 20 guests.

Martha is always honoured and delighted to plan and officiate heli weddings, since 2018. She wants to ensure the best possible experience for couples, guests, and photographers. Never rushed, you'll have time to savor your ceremony on your lofty perch, have FUN with your guests, walk to many spectacular viewpoints, and perhaps enjoy an exquisite picnic, too.

What is your investment for this wild venue? Rates include helicopter flights, your hiking guide and officiant, and vary depending on your number of flights to the mountain, from $3900 - $8100 plus GST. Reserve your date with a non-refundable $1200 booking fee. Pay your balance one month before your big date, this portion is fully fliexible and refundable for any reason.

Martha highly recommends a handful of photographers who are skilled in landscape and portrait photography, and moving nimbly in mountain terrain. Martha often connects couples with several fabulous caterers including one who will fly up with the group, bringing his smoker and some wild game and seafood.

Weddings, elopements, engagements, wedding photo shoots, and vow renewals are all options! Family picnics too!
