The Gem is a purpose-built wedding and event venue located just outside the gates of Banff National Park in Harvie Heights, minutes from Canmore and Banff. Designed for full wedding days and elevated gatherings, the space was created to host ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception seamlessly under one roof.

The venue accommodates up to 150 seated guests and 200 cocktail-style across two levels. The upper mezzanine is home to indoor ceremonies and The Opal Bar, while the lower level features the main dining room and The Onyx Bar. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted views of the Rundle Range and Cascade mountains, and the outdoor patio offers additional space for cocktail hour or relaxed guest flow.

The Gem has an onsite opperational commercial prep kitchen for catering partners, vineyard chairs, banquet tables, tableware, linens, professional staffing, and in-house coordination through The Collective. Clients have access to our outdoor ceremony site options, including ceremony coordination, white folding chairs, signing table, wedding arch selection, wireless speaker and microphone, plus a full indoor backup plan.

Couples and families can walk from their suite to the venue in under a minute, making timelines simple and stress-free.
