The Gem is a purpose-built wedding and event venue located just outside the gates of Banff National Park in Harvie Heights, minutes from Canmore and Banff. Designed for full wedding days and elevated gatherings, the space was created to host ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception seamlessly under one roof.

The venue accommodates up to 160 seated guests and 200 cocktail-style across two levels. The upper mezzanine is home to indoor ceremonies and The Opal Bar, while the lower level features the main dining room and The Onyx Bar. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted views of the Rundle Range and Cascade mountains, and the outdoor patio offers additional space for cocktail hour or relaxed guest flow.

The Gem includes an operational commercial prep kitchen for catering partners, vineyard chairs, banquet tables, tableware, linens, professional staffing, and in-house coordination through Rocky Mountain Wedding Collective. Couples also have access to our private ceremony site option, including ceremony coordination, white folding chairs, signing table, wedding arch selection, wireless speaker and microphone, plus a full indoor backup plan.
