Facilities and Capacity
Creekside Villa offers a number of both indoor and outdoor event spaces for couples to choose from to host their wedding ceremony and reception. The venue has many large areas that can accommodate up to 75 guests indoor and outdoor, perfect for an intimate small or mid-size celebration. For those looking to exchange vows amongst the beauty of nature, the outdoor ceremony space allows guests to soak in captivating views as they gather for your service. Your reception can be held in the venue's main banquet hall. Here, rustic charm meets refined elegance, and the event space can accommodate an evening of dining and dancing.

Perfect Wedding Day with Creekside Villa
- The outdoor ceremony with Mount Lady Mcdonald in the background was stunning.
- We loved that our friends and family could all stay in the venue so that we could spend the entire weekend together.
- The food was very impressive in both serving size and quality. The kitchen staff deserve a shout-out for putting out ~50 perfectly cooked steaks all at the same time!
- The entire Creekside team was great fun to be around and were quick to help us with any request or question we had. Throughout our wedding day we really felt we could trust the team to ensure our day and decor were perfect.

A Fairytale Wedding come true
The venue is an all in one, ceremony outside with the mountains surrounding us. (Option to move inside in case of rain) Cocktails & lawn games for the guests whilst we took our photos, reception inside. One stipulation is that the villa's 12 rooms are bought out for the weekend of the wedding. We loved this! It felt like a house party with the game room open for our disposal.
I am a DIYer at heart & have a long formidable Pinterest wedding board. I crafted much of the decor and Erin Savage, the Wedding Coordinator (included in the pricing) was expert at taking my items and designing a perfectly bespoke wedding & reception. My photographer could not believe how detail oriented the venue was. They made us look so good, and it was effortless on our part.
If we were to do it again, no question, we would have our wedding at Creekside Villa
Amazing Venue for a Wedding Weekend
Incredible venue!
Well Executed, Stressful Planning
We visited Creekside Villa for the first time in February after finding the venue online. We instantly fell in love with the look of the venue, the fact that their wedding package claimed to offer it all (a wedding planner, set up/take down, rental coordination, food/alcohol, florals), and the ability to have our closest friends and family stay on site with us for our wedding. It is such a gorgeous venue which is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings, with a great location and beautiful mountain views.
I would say that the claim “our in-house planners work with you from day one to customize and create the event of your dreams” is only half true, as while we did get the event of our dreams, the wedding planner was not involved much until a month before the wedding. We struggled to get email replies in a timely manner, usually waiting at least four days to two weeks for a single response. When a reply was received, it consisted mostly of information or excuses about why the reply took so long. On multiple occasions, we were promised things by a certain date and they were never delivered by the promised date, which is really unprofessional. It was extremely stressful not making planning decisions until a month before the wedding, it felt really rushed and unorganized, and we had to go over decisions multiple times as they were not documented. The whole experience with the wedding planner leading up to the wedding was really poor and added SO much stress to the planning process.
That being said, the wedding day was beautiful and it turned out better than we could have imagined. The wedding planner did amazing on the decor and florals - they exceeded our expectations. The day was kept on schedule, and we had no major issues. The food was delicious and our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food, midnight lunch, and hors d’oeuvres. The service staff were attentive and did a great job serving and clearing plates in a timely manner. The rooms were very quaint and cozy, and the daily breakfast was delicious. We also loved that the venue allowed us to bring our dogs to celebrate with us!

Hi, I'm Erin and I have been with Creekside Villa since 2018 as the main planner and in-house florist. My passions include hiking, biking, skiing, and most importantly weddings!
I will take your dreams and make them a reality. My vast experience in design and florals are an incredible asset to the Creekside team. I work with most of the local vendors, so I can help you to find any kind of decor, service, or assistance you need for your big day. I'm your main point of contact once your event is booked.
I work remotely unless there is an event here at the villa. I can be reached at any time via email or by setting up phone call.
My services are included in your base wedding package; however, my floral services are sold separately.
Hi, we're Carolyn and Marcus, and Creekside Villa is our dream come true. We have been working in hospitality for 35 years combined all over the world, from Europe to the Caribbean. In 2014 we purchased Creekside Country Inn and restored it to the beautiful space you see now. We pride ourselves on making our guests feel at home and part of our Creekside Villa extended family. Welcome to our home here in the Canadian Rockies. We hope it feels like yours too.
Carolyn spent most of her career working in the restaurants and wine industry across Canada. Marcus was born in Sweden but raised in the Caribbean, where his family still runs hotels and restaurants. Marcus was raised in the kitchen and then studied in Canada and abroad where he mastered his craft.
Hi, we're Michal and Tereza, originally from the Czech Republic but we fell in love with Canmore and its bounty of outdoor activities. We have worked with Creekside Villa for many years and bring a world of experience to guest satisfaction, operations and good home hospitality. We left for a short period of time but returned back to Creekside as we found it to be our passion.
Michal is also an experienced wedding photographer and he offers different packages as an in-house photographer.
