I want to gatekeep this venue because it’s so amazing but there’s no use in keeping it for myself. We couldn’t have been any happier with Renaissance. The team is amazing and very collaborative. They’re all so kind and most of all, very accommodating!! I don’t think any venue would’ve been as accommodating as Renaissance. When I say everything was amazing, I mean everything:
- The venue is modern, clean, elegant and fresh. It had this arctic look to it and I love that there’s story behind their interior design, like the belt wall, the “butt” wall. Every space is a great photo area. As a book lover, I particularly like the library. Whereas my now husband was really fascinated by their unique loop couch. PLUS you get the whole floor for your event including the ballroom, 2 other rooms, and the foyer! Where else can you find that. AND for the most reasonable price! It’s affordable and competitive. Parking is also free for all guests which was an amazing bonus!
- The team: Melanie, Veronica, Ken, Allan, and honestly the whole staff were kind and made sure to make our vision come true. For instance, both the bridesmaids and groomsmen were getting ready in the hotel and we asked if we can get a room for the groomsmen and that was no problem with them. It was so easy to communicate them.
- The food was the best we’ve ever had. From the tasting to the wedding reception, it did not fall short in taste. It’s honestly so elevated and five-star deliciousness. We also got to meet the chef and he was so kind. I can’t thank the chef and kitchen staff enough for their service! I have yet to find a place that can compete with Renaissance.

With renaissance, they provide the venue, catering, drinks, free parking, and a few more surprises. We are so happy that we celebrated our wedding at Renaissance. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Perfect Venue for a classy modern wedding

The Renaissance Hotel was a wonderful venue. The ballroom is gorgeous with beautiful lights with a nice podium and stage area. The main floor hotel reception area is also very modern and great for pictures.

The customer service I received was also amazing. They made sure to keep any promises that were made to me from when we first signed the contract. And even when my event coordinator left the position, the change over to the new coordinator was flawless.

The food was also very good. I had many compliments about it being the best wedding food that people have had in awhile. During our tasting, we noticed that the salmon was very dry. We mentioned it to the chef and on our wedding day, he perfected it! It was so moist and it ended up being one of the best dishes.

I also want to mention that I also hired my own day of coordinator, and the staff at the Renaissance worked very well with her. As for a few other things to note, the rate was very reasonable and comparable to other hotels, and we were also offered a complimentary room for the night which made our night way easier.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel as a venue.
