History
This venue is located on the site of the former J.M. Carthy & Sons Brewery. Originally established in 1869, the brewery was known for producing 7,000 barrels of beer per year before being shut down due to prohibition. After being torn down in 1934, some of the original red bricks from the buildings were used to construct the inn’s cottages.

Dewar’s Inn on the River specializes in pop-up events for 10 to 40 people on their riverfront wedding platform. Happy couples and their loved ones can enjoy an intimate ceremony on the venue’s private river dock surrounded by greenery and flowing water.
