We live in Brooks Alberta and got married at Castle Mountain Resort in September of 2016. Due to the distance we were only able to see the venue a couple of times before we had to decorate and so forth, but Kayla and the Castle Mountain crew made it a lot easier. Kayla was always ... View more always available via email or phone to ask questions/make arrangements. The outdoor setting was amazing, and rustic which is what we liked about it, it wasn't as commercialized as say Banff etc. The reception area was also transformed from the ski lodge look to the wedding look, again still having the rustic features and wood that we liked. The food was amazing, we had so many complements from our guests about the food, the only thing we found was it was a little pricey for children as they charged 20$ a plate from 3-12yrs, just thinking that 3 year olds aren't big eaters. The day of the event it was very well organized and Kayla was super helpful in that she was around for questions and helped where ever you needed. The only other comment that we had would be the lack of cell service, because we had guests from all over it made it kind of difficult for giving direction and just general communication on the day of the event. But I would also say that without the cell service it was also nice because it made everyone really present on our big day which was really special, no distractions! All in all, we had an amazing day at Castle and wouldn't change any of our decisions. Oh and also the places for pictures were endless and gorgeous!
Castle Mountain Resort helped make our day everything we wanted it to be and more. We were thankful for all the help that was provided, from helping with set up all the way to the tear down. Everything ran smoothly for us and our guests. I am glad that we found this venue!
