Highly recommended mountain wedding venue! AMAZING!
My husband and I recently got married at Castle Mountain Resort. After looking through numerous venues in Canmore and Banff area, we realized that we did not have the budget for a mountain wedding until we came upon Castle Mountain Resort. When we came up to view Castle Mountain Resort we instantly loved the mountain view (closer than you think!), large windows and rustic feel in the lodge, and beautiful ceremony site.Sent on 07/08/2018
Being from Calgary, we think of Canmore and Banff when it comes to mountains and were completely oblivious to how beautiful the scenery was near the Pincher Creek Area, specifically this resort. Not to mention it came with an affordable price!
The reception venue is large and makes great use of the space to have two separate areas that are still open to each other. One side has the dinner tables and the other has the dance floor and cocktail tables. We really appreciated having a kids room and a side room where the buffet was held so that the line didn't spill into the main area and the set-up/clean-up was hidden from view.
The ceremony site was absolutely charming amongst the trees, creek, and mountains. Many of our guests couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful and magical the site was.
Another big win about the weekend was having accommodations and lodging right on the mountain. It made it feel like a special weekend event where all our friends and family could enjoy together without worrying about going from place to place.
Finally, Cole and Kayla and the entire staff went above and beyond to answer any questions and ensure that we had the day that we envisioned. They were flexible, easy-going, and well-organized. The day went extremely smoothly and was (for the most part) stress free! We could not be more thankful to them for everything.
We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a mountain-scape wedding with an affordable price that treats you like your spending the big bucks.

Best Day Ever!
My big day was made absolutely perfect with the help of the amazing vendors at Castle Mountain Resort. The food was absolutely delicious and the scenery couldn’t have been more beautiful. My favourite thing about this venue was the ceremony site; with mountains and a river right behind the altar, my guests were in awe of the amazing landscape. The reception hall had the perfect lighting and the bar servers were exceptionally fun and kind. If I could relive this day at Castle all over again I would! Definitely would recommend this venue to anyone who loves the mountains.Sent on 10/09/2019

Castle Mountain is amazing!
Castle Mountain was such an amazing venue to get married at. From the start, they were so accommodating, flexible, open to our ideas and super chill when things repeatedly changed on our end, as I’m sure is the case for all weddings. The entire staff is fantastic, super down to earth people and were critical to our day being a success. The food was delicious and they made special meals for all of our guests with dietary restrictions. The ceremony site was a highlight for us - what a beautiful location overlooking Haig mountain.Sent on 08/08/2019

We live in Brooks Alberta and got married at Castle Mountain Resort in September of 2016. Due to the distance we were only able to see the venue a couple of times before we had to decorate and so forth, but Kayla and the Castle Mountain crew made it a lot easier. Kayla was always available via email or phone to ask questions/make arrangements. The outdoor setting was amazing, and rustic which is what we liked about it, it wasn't as commercialized as say Banff etc. The reception area was also transformed from the ski lodge look to the wedding look, again still having the rustic features and wood that we liked. The food was amazing, we had so many complements from our guests about the food, the only thing we found was it was a little pricey for children as they charged 20$ a plate from 3-12yrs, just thinking that 3 year olds aren't big eaters. The day of the event it was very well organized and Kayla was super helpful in that she was around for questions and helped where ever you needed. The only other comment that we had would be the lack of cell service, because we had guests from all over it made it kind of difficult for giving direction and just general communication on the day of the event. But I would also say that without the cell service it was also nice because it made everyone really present on our big day which was really special, no distractions! All in all, we had an amazing day at Castle and wouldn't change any of our decisions. Oh and also the places for pictures were endless and gorgeous!Sent on 08/11/2016
