Knollwood Golf Club is an Ancaster-based venue that specializes in creating beautiful farm weddings for soon-to-be-married couples. The Ancaster countryside is full of rustic charm, giving you the authentic country wedding you had always envisioned. Not only does this venue have great facilities to host your event, but it allows you to choose your own caterer.
Facilities and capacity
The facilities found at Knollwood Golf Club include event spaces located at both The Old Course and The New Course. The Old Course includes Hitching Post, which is an outdoor site for up to 220 guests can be set up.
The New Course offers Harris Hall which is also located inside an old barn and has a capacity for up to 120 seated guests.
Services offered
At Knollwood, we provide the venue space, a beautiful ceremony location, and access to our kitchen for your caterer. The rest is up to you to plan and personalize your special day!
Accommodation
Knollwood Golf Club offers you and your guests comfortable accommodation at The Inn, all booked through the convenience of Airbnb. The Inn is a boutique-style country retreat which offers four bedrooms that sleep 8 guests in queen size beds, a modern kitchen, living room, dining room, games room and a bridal suite.

'Equal Parts' frustrating and disorganized
Here's the thing.. the venue, and location, were perfect. On book road, we had a book themed wedding... and the golf course as a whole is beautiful. BUT... the wedding aspect of the venue is owned and operated by Equal Parts Hospitality group. Our coordinator was either laid off, fired, or quit... 4 days before our wedding our coordinator was fired without cause. They then tried to send a random to help us with the day who knew nothing about our wedding. Then, they tried to charge us nearly $1500 for something that wasn't in our contract nearly a month after our wedding and called it a 'small discrepancy'. If you want stress, mismanagement, and disorganization then by all means go with them...

Amazing service
Knollwood and Equal Parts Hospitality were truly amazing to work with. Our wedding plans changed drastically with Covid and they worked with us to make our day happen. Even though it couldn’t be what we originally planned they made the day special. It was also very obvious how passionate and important our day was to them that everything went smoothly and stress free. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were all great. The sunsets are magical!

Beautiful venue
Anna Tran was our main point of contact and she did a wonderful job of keeping things organized for our special day. every little detail worked out perfectly and I had no major stress the day of. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious.

Best experience ever!
We had our wedding here on Friday September 27th 2019 and I must say from start to finish we had the best time working with Knollwood! Anna, Marian, Steve, and the whole knollwood staff made me and my husband feel so cared for. Our guests continue to keep raving about the food and the music our DJ Justin provided. Overall the best experience ever and we could not of asked for a better wedding day!

Best wedding ever!
I am still reminiscing about my beautiful, special day at Knollwood. I can't say enough great things about this place. It took me a long time to find this venue as I was very certain I was not interested in a golf course as I find them to feel quite "cookie cutter"... Not this one! We had our wedding in the tent at the end of September and it was so beautiful. We so enjoyed our planning process from Day One with Carly, she is soooo lovely and I already miss our regular chats! On the big day, our day of coordinator Samantha was amazing. She was zipping back and forth on her golf cart making sure everything was perfect, making sure I was well fed and always had a drink in my hand (lol!). The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal and our guests were simply blown away. I couldn't have asked for a better place to start this new chapter of my life.

We had such a beautiful experience with the venue, we are both so happy with how the planning took place and with how professional everyone has been throughout the entire process! Carly is amazing, she met with us several times in order to address any concerns, goals and needs for the big day! It was a pleasure working with her, she is caring, fun, professional and was accommodating throughout the entire planning process! She also was very timely in answering all of our questions!
We absolutely LOVED Jocelyn (she helped at the start of the process) and Sam was amazing on the wedding day, she ensure that everything went smoothly! We loved the gorgeous venue (old course), the Inn was beautiful and charming, the food was perfectly prepared and everyone was happy with the service and food! The DJ was absolutely amazing, we loved Justin, he kept everyone on the dace floor all night long! Thank you Knollwood Golf Club for making our dream and vision a reality! We honestly had the best day ever, the venue, and staff just made our day so beautiful and incredible!
I would definitely come back for other events and would recommend the venue to anyone!!!

Flawwless and Beautiful Wedding
Thank you Carly, Samantha, and the Knollwood team for a flawless execution of our wedding day! From our initial visit with Carly and the tour of the venue to our wedding day on July 7th, Knollwood has been nothing but professional, accommodating, and resourceful! The grounds were breathtaking, the tent was classy, and the staff were enthusiastic and helpful. We LOVE how EASY Knollwood made the planning for us. Their wedding packages included all tableware/glassware, linen selection, set-up and take-down, coordinator, DJ, and more! Our guests could also not stop talking about the food – the prime rib melts in your mouth!
Thank you Knollwood for being apart of our special moment. We could not have selected a better venue and definitely would recommend Knollwood to other couples.
