Country Heritage Park is a not for profit charitable organization located in beautiful Milton on 80+ acres highlighted with the Niagara Escarpment as a backdrop and centuries of historic buildings.

We specialize in hosting weddings, social gatherings, corporate meetings and supporting other community not for profit events or fundraisers and recently movie shoots. Hosting your event at Country Heritage Park not only will leave your guests breathless but also helps in the preservation of your community.

Sought After Venues

The Gambrel Barn; 280 seated

  • Our all season, Gambrel Barn from the outside looks like a traditional looking barn, however once inside you feel the natural beauty of a post and beam structure with the warmth of reclaimed wood surrounding you with the simple elegance of twinkle lights strung above and down lighting of beautiful historic beams. The unique name of this building reflects the roof style and was constructed as a bicentennial project back in 1984.

The Carriage House; 150 seated

  • Our seasonal, Carriage House is a one of a kind building where classic meets elegance. An all wood building constructed with large barn doors, offering a perfect grand entrance into its unique open roof concept allowing the elements of nature to be felt throughout the event. Once the sun sets and nighttime begins the building is illuminated by the country’s nighttime sky and by strung twinkle lights enhancing natures natural beauty.

Fees and Inclusions

  • Venue access is from 9:00 a.m. day of until 2:00 a.m. following the event for all patrons and vendors
  • Venue rental fee includes; set-up and tear down of our house tables and chairs
  • All bar packages cover the purchase, sale and service costs of alcohol including Bar Tenders
  • An Event/Venue Coordinator; from booking to day of they will work with you to create a scaled Floor Plan and Event Outline to ensure a flawless event
  • Venue rental fees, tractor rides and bar service packages are HST exempt

Catering

Country Heritage Park has diligently selected premium preferred caterers that offer both traditional Canadian/American food as well as Halal and South Asian options. We do not allow outside caterers for very important reasons. One, our venues are historic buildings and if they burn down we are not be able to replicate them or their historic significance. Secondly, our venues are not equipped with full kitchen amenities, which offers surprises to external caterers, resulting in possible complications that may or may not be able to be resolved day of. Therefore it is required that one of our partnered caterers be contracted for dinner services for all events. Please contact the selceted caterer directly for pricing.

External Vendors

Apart from the caterer, we offer flexibility to bring in external vendors pertaining to other event necessities such as décor, floral, photography, entertainment, day of wedding coordination, etc.

Venue Tours

Tours are offered on an pre-booked hourly basis and take approximately 1 hour from start to finish. Aside from previous booked events tours are conducted Sunday-Saturday; 9:30am – 3:30pm

Country Heritage Park offers other facilities which include historical buildings and displays that give this venue its signature mark. Among them you can find the Nassagaweya Schoolhouse, Massey Harris Building, Ford Dealership, Mountview Women’s Institute Hall, Potter-Kinder Blacksmith Shop and more.

    Amazing wedding experience

    We recently had our wedding here and had a wonderful experience. This venue is absolutely stunning and the Carriage House is the perfect space for a reception, we got so many compliments from our guests. The staff were very helpful all throughout the planning phase, and Kate and the bar staff were amazing the day of. 100% recommend for your big day.

    Amazing experience, excellent outcome!

    Amazing experience working with Country Heritage Park and their staff! Karri was the event coordinator who dealt with me and my wife during the planning process for our wedding, she was amazing. The last couple weeks prior to the wedding Karri prepared everything for us and told us exactly what she needed, that was extremely helpful. On the day of our wedding, it rained so our ceremony had to be moved from the General Shop to the Gambrel Barn second floor and that was beautifully done. All the staff who helped set everything up and took it down did an amazing job. Country Heritage Park also offers a previously worked with vendors list and that was extremely helpful, we went with Catering by Gregory's and they were above and beyond amazing to work with. Our wedding night was perfect and it wouldn't have been that way without the help of Karri and the staff of Country Heritage Park. Amazing!

    Excellent experience

    It was really great working with Anna. She was a great help and the venue is beautiful. All of my guest were wowed at the venue and the set up.

    Great Experience

    We are so happy we choose to have our special day (our wedding) at Country Heritage Park. This venue was a freak to work with.

    From our initial tour of the venue we knew this was the best place for the vision we had in mind.

    Our experience was exceptional working with the staff. Our questions we answered in a timely manner.

    All our guest cannot stop raving how beautiful the site was and we cannot stop smiling from the great experience we had.

    Our Dream Wedding

    My husband and I just had the wedding of our dreams here on Friday. Mariette was helpful through the entire process and eager to make sure everything we could imagine was available. The venue it self is beyond beautiful. Rustic yet beautiful, large yet cozy and the grounds made for a lovely outdoor ceremony. They were so accommodating and gave us great ideas on how to use their beautiful grounds for pictures (that we can't wait to see). All of our guests could not believe how beautiful everything was. The weather was perfect, however there contingency plans would have been just as lovely as well. To say I would recommend this venue would be an understatement. Everything came together so wonderfully and we could not be happier. Huge thanks to the team who care so much about their grounds and their couples getting married.

    Carriage House at Country Heritage Park

    We had our wedding reception at the Carriage House on May 19th 2018. Mariette and her team were awesome. Everything went off without a hitch, and the pricing was reasonable in comparison to other venues. We were very happy with our choice!

    My husband and I started our experience with Darlene and it was incredible. SHE was incredible... She was so responsive and was so invested in every couple's special day. The new owners took over, Darlene was let go (or left, I'm not entirely sure) and NO ONE managed her email. I spent three months trying to get an answer from Darlene (calling and emailing) when I finally got so fed up and they told me she was no longer with CHP. NO ONE told the brides/grooms. We were left high and dry.

    Them Mariette took over and it really went south from there. She consistently forgot to call back and seemed like she couldn't be bothered to talk with us. She didn't keep an accurate record of details we had spoken about. I had to ask for weeks for a final invoice which had the wrong price and my name spelled incorrectly on it.. I ended up taking notes of our phone calls and sending them to her, as well as correcting my OWN invoice.. I was doing HER job while planning MY wedding.

    And! We got married in October, so we figured the final payment would be cashed within the next 2-4 weeks. They didn't try to cash our final payment until CHRISTMAS when we were (obviously) busy celebrating, purchasing gifts for our family etc. They then proceeded to not tell us it hadn't gone through until THREE MONTHS AFTER it didn't process.

    This place is so poorly managed now and although the location is stunning, the stress and new price is so not worth it. You will make yourself absolutely crazy trying to do their job while trying to plan your wedding.

    Such a disappointment. Darlene was the heart and soul of that place.

    Country Heritage Park is a beautiful venue, with lots of photo opportunities as well. The best part is that you can make it your own! The only downside is that you have to remove all of your decor at the end of the night. If you are doing DIY, look into hiring a day of coordinator, or a take down team so you don't have to worry about it at the end of a very long day!

    Darlene was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond to questions and worked hard to make sure our day was special.

Samantha is passionate about creating joyous memories. Good at wearing multiple hats and is adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances, always maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude. She maintains a big picture philosophy with a focus on the goals and critical eye on the details. Her experience includes managing events of all sizes from corporate meetings to fundraisers and celebrations. In her free time, Samantha enjoys yoga, anything food and wine related as well as travel and spending time with friends and family.

With a finite attention to detail, she is always able to "make it work" with open communication throughout the beginning, middle and execution of your event.
