Harrop Barn in Milton, Ontario, is an absolute gem and a perfect spot for creative projects and special events. We had the privilege of recording a musical video there with a group of around 25 people, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning surroundings. The barn itself is a beautiful mix of rustic charm and modern elegance, making it an ideal backdrop for our video shoot. The spaciousness of the venue allowed us to move freely while setting up and filming, and the natural light streaming in through the large windows added a magical touch to our shots. The barn's layout was perfect for accommodating our group, and it provided a warm, inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. The acoustic quality inside the barn also worked wonderfully for our music, adding depth and richness to the sound.
What really stood out to us was the attention to detail and the care taken in maintaining the space. Everything was impeccably clean and well-organized, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The outdoor surroundings also offered beautiful views, and we were able to capture some fantastic outdoor shots as well.
Our time at Harrop Barn was not only productive but also incredibly enjoyable. We shared so many laughs and wonderful moments throughout the day, and we left feeling inspired by the beauty of the venue. If you're looking for a place to host an event or shoot a project, Harrop Barn is truly a standout choice! -

We booked with CHP because it fit our budget and was a perfect location for all our guests. We were so excited to use the Gambrel Barn as it was the perfect rustic feel.
We were a bit surprised when in February we got a call from the venue that a second event had been booked the weekend of our wedding (which was totally allowed per our contract), and that event was the Ram Rodeo Tour. Kate, our new venue coordinator was a saint about it and answered every question we had and made sure the logistics of keeping the wedding and rodeo separate effortless. The Ram Rodeo graciously and hilariously allowed my husband and I into the ring to be acknowledged by the rodeo guests. It was a great venue and we had such a wonderful time. My only tip for couples booking here is that because there is so much space for photography here, to schedule extra time in for that, we lost some photography time due to having to trek across the property for the good photo spots.
CHP managed the bar and was great about adding the extra alcohol we wanted.
The bridal suite was great, my hair and makeup team kept mentioning how much natural light and elbow room they had the whole day -

We had our wedding here at the Gambrel Barn in January 2023 after a postponement from January 2022. We worked with Karri originally and then Sam and both were amazing. Everyone was so helpful when dealing with the various pandemic restrictions and then ultimately our postponement. Sam was great to work with alongside the coordinator we hired to really create a dream team and ensure our vision came together. The grounds have amazing photo opportunities and the staff on our big day were absolutely wonderful! We had the most amazing night and we couldn't thank everyone enough! -

We recently had our wedding here and had a wonderful experience. This venue is absolutely stunning and the Carriage House is the perfect space for a reception, we got so many compliments from our guests. The staff were very helpful all throughout the planning phase, and Kate and the bar staff were amazing the day of. 100% recommend for your big day. -
