We recently celebrated our 10th anniversary at Cheekye Ranch, and it was an experience beyond our wildest dreams. From our very first site visit, we knew this was the perfect location. Communication leading up to the event was seamless, and the payment plan made everything manageable, spreading the costs over time.

The day itself was nothing short of magical. The pristine location, nestled among majestic mountains and alongside a serene river, left us in awe. The attention to detail in the landscaping was remarkable, creating an elegant yet natural setting that felt both inviting and exclusive. Many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and were surprised by how polished and comfortable everything felt. The on-site amenities—flushable toilets and showers—definitely added a touch of luxury.

Cheekye Ranch is an off-grid venue, which we absolutely loved. It’s more sustainable and fits perfectly with the vibe of the ranch. Sure, power and water are finite, but with a bit of planning, it wasn’t an issue at all. In fact, it felt more like a benefit than a drawback—it added to the charm and made the whole experience feel even more special.

An extra special bonus was being surrounded by all the beautiful animals on the ranch, including their rescue horses. These gentle, magnificent creatures added such a unique and heartwarming touch to the weekend. It felt like we were part of something truly special, sharing space with these animals in such a serene environment.

We had guests staying in the yurts, which were immaculately clean and beautifully positioned to overlook the river and mountains. Waking up to the sight of eagles soaring above and the tranquil sounds of nature was unforgettable. My husband and I stayed in the Atwell Cabin, which was absolutely stunning. Equipped with a private bathroom and kitchenette, it provided us with the perfect retreat—cozy, stylish, and a little slice of heaven for the weekend.

The wonderful staff at Cheekye Ranch truly made our event extraordinary. Their support and care ensured that everything ran smoothly and that every detail was handled perfectly. Our guests raved about the experience, and we couldn’t agree more.

Overall, Cheekye Ranch is a 10/10 venue. Whether you’re planning a wedding, anniversary, or any other special event, this is the place to create unforgettable memories. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Cheekye Ranch is simply gorgeous. That, along with the freedom to create a unique wedding limited only by your imagination, are the two key selling points. The property is so cool, with the mountain range and river being two standout features, but the yurts, the horses, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature all contribute to the awesome vibe.

When you book Cheekye Ranch, you are booking your location and that's about it. It's up to you to bring in everything else, from tables and chairs to food and drinks, from music and dance floors to fridges and freezers. It does take a lot of planning and coordination to bring it all together, but having pulled it off ourselves, I can truly say we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. We had the party of our lifetime! The fact that you can stay on the property for two nights is incredible too, it really makes it feel like a mini festival. And did we mention the view of the mountains??

Kris and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Mandy did an excellent job staying in constant communication and answering all of our questions. Thank you all again for providing the venue to the best party of our lives!

We were so incredibly close to booking a venue across the street when we thought we should check this place out before we pulled the deposit trigger. I am so glad we did! They allowed us to use our own alcohol and the flexibility to choose a caterer was amazing. The 360 degree mountain view is stunning and it was what we wanted to show our out of town visitors... This was the reason we chose Squamish as a location! The venue allowed us to use their benches and picnic tables which saved us money (if I was to do it again I wouldn't even rent tables). The morning of our wedding I got to have a lovely trail ride, then I rode to the aisle on their horse Hawk and we took photos on horseback after the ceremony as well... An absolute dream for me (a dream I didn't even know I had haha).

On top of that they do amazing work rescuing horses and honestly it felt great that our money was going to a a family owned business and horse rescue.
