Located in Canmore, Alberta, WildHeart is a fitness studio situated in the heart of the Canadian Rockies which offers a unique wedding work out experience called 'The Wild Bride'. In providing wedding workouts for brides before their big day or for their bachelorette party, Aly Sudermann, Emily Brooks and Amanda Sarka created this experience with one goal in mind, to provide wedding groups with some balance to a weekend full of over indulgence or a unique experience so they can feel strong and relaxed on their wedding day.
Whether you’re in need of a little grounding in the midst of wedding planning overwhelm, a self-care activity to bring some balance to your bachelorette weekend in the mountains, or a holistic health & wellness experience before, during, and after your bridal journey, they’ve got something for you. They’ll put together a unique class that can be as intense or relaxed as you’d like.
The Wild Bride - A private fitness class that offers:
Yoga: Move, ground, connect. A holistic wellness practice in the heart of the Rockies to leave you feeling zen for your big day.
Barre: Sweat it out, tone up, and have a blast doing it with your specialized Barre experience. A combination of strength and grace, just like you.
Their space is available for 1-3 hour private classes. They are also happy to accomodate special requests and other private function formats.

Team of WildHeart Canmore
General Manager, Co-Owner
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, I started dance and gymnastics at a young age. I loved the two so much that I eventually put them together and joined the sport of synchronized swimming at seven years old. Years of dedication and hard work earned me a spot on the Canadian Junior National synchronized swimming team, where I competed internationally and trained at the Centre of Excellence in Montreal, Quebec. While pursuing my dreams as a professional athlete, I developed back and shoulder injuries. At only 19 years old, I had to make the heart-wrenching decision to retire from the sport and focus on healing my mind and body. That is when I discovered yoga as therapy. Putting my athletic ego aside, I opened my heart to the practice of healing. I immediately fell in love with yoga, and went on to complete my 200-hour Hatha YTT in
Nelson, B.C. in 2012. Since completing my yoga certification, I have simplified my life and moved away to the beautiful Rocky Mountain town of Canmore, Alberta. I have also become an active member of the Aqualillies, a synchronized swimming troupe that performs in shows across Canada.
I have always dreamed of owning her own business and sharing my love for yoga and fitness with the rest of the world. The Canmore lifestyle inspired me to team up with business partner Aly Sudermann and make her dream a reality. Along with opening the studio I have recently finished her training with Ballet Barre Works. You can find her teaching a variety of barre classes at WildHeart. When I'm not practicing or teaching, I am spending time in the mountains (rain or shine) with my friends and wonderful dog, Lobo.
