Good office staff, Bad Drivers

We found mermaid luxury through a recommendation of family friends and proceeded to go with them. Discussing pricing and service options was an overall good experience with the office staff.

However, the driver we had for the night of our wedding was not professional, would respond to our concerns in a rude manner and just difficult to deal with. We arranged a shuttle service from a hotel to our venue, the driver took our guests to the wrong location. Later in the evening my wife and I saw the limo driver to discuss shuttling our guests back to their hotel. The driver kept trying to tell us he was not aware that he was taking guests to 2 separate hotels. We had at least 5 conversations about this with the company when we booked the shuttle service. After tense discussion with him he finally agreed but was rude towards my wife and I the entire night. The Driver was also informing us that we had to leave before our arranged time at the end of the night as he had another pickup scheduled after ours.

If going with mermaid luxury my only advice is to ensure that the drivers have clear understanding of where they need to be and when before providing services for the event. The driver for the evening honestly made it very stressful for my wife and I.

Ensuring safety

We had such a lovely driver for our wedding party transport. She was friendly and put up with a bunch of loud hooligans just happy to be there. Where she really excelled was when my sister in law missed the guest shuttle, and she drove them to the hotel block. Was kind of her to ensure that my sister got to the hotel safely.

The vehicles were clean and exactly as advertised.

Sub-par experience

My wife and I used Mermaid Limo for our wedding. As far as timing is concerned, they were good. They showed up on time and we were able to get to our destinations on time. However, the rest of the experience was lacking. The limo itself was in desperate need of repair - door trim was falling of the inside, the air conditioning controls didn’t work (we got cool air, but couldn’t control via controls in the back), and the overall quality of the limousine itself was disappointing. There was no ice for the bottle of champagne either so it was warm to drink. The driver was also just OK. Again, he showed up on time but seemed a bit loopy. Also, when we arrived at the venue we were still taking pictures of the wedding party leaving the vehicle and he wasted no time approaching my wife to sign off on the paperwork before we’d even had a chance to determine if anyone needed a ride home. He did the same to me, and we were made to feel rushed and pushed aside. Honestly, I’d like to recommend their service, but I just can’t because it was just sub-par for what you’d expect on your wedding day.

Mermaid Luxury Limos

Had a great experience with Mermaid Luxury. Our driver was very pleasant and on time, and was patient with us as we rushed around and were tried to keep everything on time on our end. Everything was super simple and convenient, and we would definitely recommend their services in the Hamilton area!

Efficient and beautiful!

Mermaid Limo was on time, efficient, and our driver was a sweetheart! Affordable compared to other companies with top-notch service still! Beautiful interior, clean, and the sparkling wine was a lovely touch after our ceremony!
Only comment for improvement would be to have the AC working a little better (it was very hot in August!) and to have the sparkling wine on ice (it was lukewarm unfortunately).
10/10 would recommend still, we had the perfect day with Mermaid Limo!

We hired two limos from Mermaid limos to take us to our wedding venue. They were on time for both myself and my husband. Anytime time we had a question or had to change our order, customer service was always quick to respond. Just wished the Bluetooth worked in both limos! Overall great service!

Got us to the church on time

The driver was very professional and flexible with our multiple trip needs. He handled both getting the guests to the event and safely returned them to the hotel afterwards throughout the night. The bus was very clean.
