WORST EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE

We had Canam Limo booked for 1.5 hours for our wedding to take the groomsmen to the venue, the driver to come back to pick up the girls and then the girls to go to the venue. Each way was only 15 minutes but I allotted double the amount of time for each trip (so half an hour each trip). The hotel we were getting ready at was in Hamilton and the venue was also in Hamilton.

First off, they called me the night before to receive the final payment, I said that I had cash for the next day but that I would have to give it to the driver before the trip started (this was fine by me and what we agreed on) HOWEVER also the night before I still had NO contact information for a driver, they advised me that the driver had not been dispatched and that someone would send me the contact information the next day (spoiler alert… that never happened)

So essentially the next day, I get a call from an unknown number that says “Maybe: Vista Limo” which I thought was strange because that’s not the company I booked with so I don’t answer and also IM BUSY obviously. Anyways the driver was prompt picking the guys up but here’s where the fun begins.

The guys were in the limo for what they felt was a longer amount of time than it should have been (around 20 minutes) and so they asked the driver where he’s taking them and he said BURLINGTON. So instead of the guys getting to the venue at 4:00 latest they got there for 4:30 (which was the time the driver was supposed to be at the hotel picking up the girls). So 4:45 rolls around, me and the girls are STILL waiting downstairs, but I don’t have any clue what’s going on so I phone the unknown number that phoned me, I ask where he is and he says “10 minutes away”.

Probably one of the most important parts of this is to know that our ceremony was supposed to start at 5:00pm.

Continuing on…. It’s now 5:15 and you could hear the limo from down the road because it sounded like it was going to break down. The limo is pulling into the driveway of the hotel, he HITS THE CURB…. AND BREAKS THE LIMO.

This resulted in me having to take TWO Ubers to my wedding and being 45 MINUTES LATE to my wedding.

They gave us $100 out of the cash envelope but really we had to pay for the Ubers out of pocket because they included that $100 in the refund (we were refunded the totality of our 1.5 hour afternoon reservation)

Not ONCE did they reach out to me to make this situation right and even when I reached out they messed me around for almost 3 weeks after my wedding before refunding me. I did not feel that things were handled in a timely manner.

Thank GOD it didn’t break down on the highway and hurt anyone.

WORST customer service I’ve ever received

Thank you so much for your reliable service! I am thankful that we didn't have to worry about transportation on the day of our wedding. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The vehicle we rented fit our needs - both in terms of budget and who we needed to get to the venue. We were pleased!

We booked our ride with Canam Limo and had a amazing experience. Especially from a day advance we got the confirmation call from the reservation desk to confirm our booking. The Limo was there at accurate time with a smiling chauffeur which made our experience even more better. Cheers to you guys for your excellent service and making our experience a memorable one.
