    A decision you won't regret

    Alanna was by far the most amazing planner we could have dreamt of for our wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone! Reminiscing on our wedding, my husband and I have said to each other (multiple times) that the reason we were able to relax and enjoy the day was because we knew Alanna had everything under control. She is the most reliable, organized, and trustworthy person who you just know will take care of every little detail. We postponed and re-planned our wedding multiple times because of COVID and not only was she extremely flexible, but also was so helpful in figuring out how to navigate the many postponements. I really could go on forever about how great she is!! Her and her team are impeccable and do not miss a beat. Hiring her was the best decision we made.

    Our wedding was perfect and effortless thanks to VITA!

    Alanna and her team at VITA made the weeks leading up to and the day of our wedding absolutely effortless! Alanna is not only one of the kindest humans you will meet she is also damn good at her job! Her professionalism, attention to detail, level of organization and expertise made planning the final details of our wedding so easy! From our first call with Alanna we knew she had to be a part of our vendor team and by the end she literally blew us away with how much of a key role she played in taking the pressure off of my fiancé and I so we could have the wedding we always dreamed of! Alanna went above and BEYOND the day of our wedding (being 8 MONTHS PREGNANT, kicking it in heels all day) and handling every situation in the most professional way, she was a complete ROCKSTAR! Alanna and her colleague Christina ensured our day went according to plan, sticking with our timeline, ensuring deliveries were correct and on time, coordinating with other vendors and even setting up our decor elements! Alanna is a DREAM and will make the planning process as well as the day of your wedding go exactly as you plan!     I’m overwhelmingly grateful to have hired Vita event planning!

    Alanna was absolutely fantastic!! She stood out from the beginning because she was the only planner who personally called me to introduce herself. She is extremely organized and has such great attention to detail. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she caught many details that I would’ve missed or never thought of. She gave suggestions to help prepare for an easy, seamless day. She mentioned scenarios and planned how we could work around them. Alanna coordinated with all my vendors, and she and the florist/decorator worked particularly close together to ensure nothing was missing. The other vendors even raved about how helpful she was! My bridal party loved her and quickly relied on her to lead the day, so they could relax and enjoy the day too! On top of everything she was already doing during the wedding, she took countless moments to come over and check on me to see if I needed a drink or anything else! I could really go on all day about how grateful I am to have had her as my planner for the wedding day. I had everything pretty much booked when Alanna and I connected but I wanted someone who could help take care of the smaller details and take some stress off on the big day. Alanna and her assistant did just that, plus 1000x more. She is the reason I was able to relax and truly soak in all the moments and enjoy the best day of our life (so far). Best decision I made for the wedding day!! Forever grateful xoxo.

    BEST decision we made for our wedding was hiring Alanna!

    It was an absolute dream working with Alanna and the VITA event planning team. We were always skeptical at first hiring a wedding planner, but now looking back, I don't think we would have survived without having one! Alanna was so friendly, accommodating, professional, supportive, I could go on and on :) She provided us with great advice along the way and did not overlook any detail. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding 3 times which was extremely stressful, however having Alanna by our side definitely alleviated a lot of stress for us. Their pricing is also VERY reasonable and worth every penny :) I would truly recommend Alanna and the VITA team for any of your event needs - big or small!

    Best investment you will make for your wedding day!

    I have to start off by saying we did not have the traditional wedding we originally intended. We went from a 300+ wedding in Woodbridge to an 80 person wedding at a winery in Niagara (Covid changed many of our plans).
    We booked Alanna for the Day Of our wedding (6 weeks out). Our Venue did come with a day of coordinator. We are often asked if you need your own coordinator if the venue has their own. The answer is yes! Although they were helpful, the venues priority is that their day runs on schedule. Alanna's priority is YOUR day. Things that are not even on your radar were top of mind for Alanna. Do you have your speeches printed? What time are the sandwiches being picked up for your groomsmen the morning of and by who? Alanna is your eyes, ears, and hands in the weeks leading up to your day. She will make sure that, down to the minute, nothing is overlooked and you can focus on the best day of your life. She handles all the small details and keeps everything flowing perfectly.
    We were told many times by our guests that they have never seen such a calm couple on the day of their wedding. We knew we had left nothing to chance and that we had Alanna and her team there to address any surprises that came our way.
    Even with our drastic changes from one venue/city to the next (We booked our final venue the week of our wedding) She was there to make sure that nothing was rushed and that no fine detail was overlooked. From our first look, to having food waiting at our AirBnB for us after the party.

    Alanna sat with us initially when we booked and ironed out exactly what our expectations were of her and she absolutely went above and beyond to surpass what we hoped for. (I will add that she did this while pregnant and never was unavailable when we needed her guidance along the way).
    When we had conversations with Vendors that didn't go as smoothly as we hoped, she was always able to get them to work with us as best as possible and make the experience a memorable one.
    We referred her to my sister who got married later in the year. (She did have the big 200+ wedding we thought we would of had). My sister's wedding like ours, was incredible, and she attributed much of this to having such a well thought out and designed plan to her special day that you simply are not able to do on your own.
    What Alanna brings to the table is her knowledge, expertise, and attention to detail that is impossible to accomplish without someone like her to dedicate her entire self to that day (and the days leading up).
    Of all the vendors and luxuries we purchased for the day of our wedding, Alanna was by far the best investment we made to assure our guests (and Us) had the best possible experience.
    We will always be thankful for the help and guidance she gave us during such a stressful time of planning and uncertainty through Covid. I am confident she will bring this same experience to you on your special day.

    BEST decision you will make for your wedding!

    We finally had our wedding this past October. It was truly magical! Considering the challenging times and restrictions, it was a fairly big wedding of 200 guests, which took a lot of changing and rearranging of plans. 
    And even still, I received so many compliments on what a cool and relaxed bride I was. That was all because I was fortunate enough to work with Alanna of Vita Event Planning.

    In the weeks leading up to the big day, Alanna helped me organize my thoughts and ideas, sorted out so many of the details I hadn’t yet thought of, reviewed contracts, did a venue walk-through with us, contacted vendors for me and made me and my husband-to-be feel at ease. 

    In the days before, she arranged deliveries, hammered out timelines and ensured any last minute changes of mine (there were many) such as adding flowers and candles, rearranging seating and so much more, were well taken care of.  

    She checked in on us often to make sure we were happy and ready to go! 

    The big day felt effortless truly. It was such a special feeling. I don’t think I even checked the time all day or night. Everything felt as though it flowed so perfectly and I know that this is only because Alanna was on top of it all. From making sure hair and make up, photos and speeches, etc was running on time, to getting the groom’s family their corsages and boutiners and us girls our bouquets, to ensuring our lunch delivery reached the bridal party between photo locations, to making sure the venue was just as I had imagined, to having extra food put aside for us to make sure we got to eat in the midst all of the excitement; I can’t even list all of the little and big ways she (and her team, Alana and Joseph) helped us have the perfect day.   

    If there is any question as to whether or not you need Vita Event Planning services… YOU DO! You want to do nothing but enjoy you’re special day with your new husband and your family and friends, and no matter how big or small your wedding, there is so much to consider, and details to keep up with. Having Alanna on your team is priceless!

    Fabulous Experience!

    Alanna was the best investment for our event! She is thorough, budget conscious and so easy and fun to work with. She takes care of all the details and makes the entire process a seamless experience. The day of our event was stress-free and we didn't have to worry about a thing - she took care of every last detail. I would highly recommend her services!

    Best money spent!

    We came across Alanna through a friend's Instagram photos of their micro wedding that looked amazing. After out initial call I left feeling like a) I wanted to be Alanna's friend and b) hiring her would be a no brainer.

    We hired her for our decor and month/ day of planning. She brought our black and white decor dreams to life in the most spectacular way. Due to the most recent lockdown in January of 2022 we were forced to move our reception date to May. Alanna was incredibly flexible with accommodating our ceremony and reception dates. She went above in every sense from keeping us on track and organized to contacting our vendors and ensuring we did not have to worry about a thing on both days. She even called in to our floral meeting while on bed-rest 2 days before giving birth!!!!

    I cannot recommend Alanna enough - truly the best money we spent for the entire wedding! The easiest decision you can make would be hiring her!

    Amazing Exeperience!

    It was an absolute pleasure to work with Alanna and Vita Wedding & Event Planning. Alanna helped me plan my son's Confirmation in September 2021. She was meticulous with every detail, patient with all my questions and incredibly creative. Alanna is such a sweet person and was incredibly easy to work with, professional throughout the planning process and present on the day of the event - She took care of every detail so I didn't have to!     Alanna is hands down the most incredible wedding planner. She helped up create the most magical intimidate at home wedding during the pandemic while navigating an ever changing environment. Could not have done the day without her so appreciative of her knowledge, attention to details, calming nature and dedication.

Alanna is the Owner/Lead Planner of Vita | Wedding & Event Planning. She has over a decade of experience in the hospitality and event industry with past experience including working as a Senior Event Consultant for a top caterer in Toronto, leading and lauching the event department in a Luxury Hotel in the heart of Toronto, managing trendy restaurants, and working for high end designers in the GTA. She launched Vita | Wedding & Event Planning in 2012 with the goal of assisting clients with a seamless planning experiences to create magical and memorable events.
