I cannot recommend Shing Weddings enough! I can't imagine how the months before the wedding, and the actual day would have been if I did not have their support. I was so anxious before the wedding, just overthinking everything and I had no idea what I was doing (which they lovingly reminded me that of course I wouldn't think of it because I have never planned a wedding). Everything was also broken down week by week with the weekly meetings and to do lists. They thought of EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that would need to be taken care of, which meant that the day went seamlessly. I felt like the day of the wedding I was able to turn my brain off and just enjoy every moment. For example, they suggested doing a room reveal with just my husband and I. We had music playing, and we had a private calming moment to dance and just be together. My wedding was perfect because of them, I am so grateful.

If you’re even thinking about it, just do it! Shing Weddings was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Weddings can be costly - specifically when you think of not only the money you spend but the time intensive process of planning it all. Eva was our lead planner for our wedding (process - and it was a process!). The amount of dedication, time and work she put into it was amazing. I plan events for work and like to think that I am good at what I do, however, after seeing the level of detail and organization Eva had, I realized I need to implement more of that into my life! There are so many little details that you don’t think of until someone else brings it up, from pens for signing to card boxes to who is going to do what and when. Eva made the entire process of planning a wedding (almost) stress free! She took our budget and ran with it, and we did not go over budget at all - even with all the last minute details we decided to add in. She organized not only all the vendors, but helped create a script for my friend / MC and all of our wedding party. Eva helped to manage all the little details - even when it came to our families and the surprises they threw our way. After watching other friends plan weddings and the stress they had, I can honestly say that I felt completely at ease and felt like I only needed to make the big decisions and the rest was handled for us.
On our actual wedding day, we had Eva, Lisa and Alex help to navigate the day and again, keep us stress free (as well as hydrated and pampered!) We are immensely grateful that we were fully able to be present at and enjoy every moment of our wedding day without having to worry about any of the details. They handled all the surprises from our family with ease and the entire day went by what seemed to be seamlessly! Not to mention they kept us on time, at ease and hydrated throughout the day. There are so many things Eva and team did for us not only on our wedding day, but before, and AFTER was well! I cannot imagine having to go through this process without them. I cannot recommend Eva and Shing Weddings enough! Again, if you’re even contemplating them, don’t think twice. It is 100% worth the investment and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know who is getting married!

Shing Weddings was by no doubt one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Eva was our coordinator from the last several weeks leading up, and let me just say the amount of work she put in for us was phenomenal. Daniel and I pride ourselves in being hardcore planners and staying very organized, but let me tell you, there are SOOOOO many minute details and wedding-specific things that unless you have first-hand experience, you would have NO idea you needed. She swooped in and sent probably over a hundred emails for us, organized briefings to our wedding party and MCs, and crafted a super detailed timeline (that has also gone through a gazillion renditions because of all the micro changes that have a domino effect). In the last few weeks, all our friends and coworkers have mentioned we look scarily too chill for being so close to the wedding day, and we barely even took any days off because we simply didn't feel the need to - we owe it all to Eva!

On our actual day, we were so lucky to have Eva, Lisa, Crystal and Jon help manage our day. They were sooo helpful throughout and I never felt more pampered and taken care of! We are so so so grateful to them for allowing us (and all our wedding party, MCs, and family) to be fully present in each moment without a single worry. They handled unpredictable situations (ie. bee situation with the arbour) so smoothly, advocating for our vision of an outdoor ceremony, and the entire day couldn't have gone smoother! We were always on time or even ahead of schedule and I always had access to my phone and lipstick, without the risk of misplacing it ever! There are a gazillion big and small things that would be too too long to list here, but trust me when I say I couldn't have imagined the day without any one of them. All our friends really love the Shing team and we miss them so much already!!! :')

From our first meeting with Michelle, we knew that we would be in good hands. We booked Michelle and her team from Shing Weddings a year in advance of our wedding, and it was worth every penny. My husband and I both live in the Bay Area and are super busy with work, so we needed someone we could depend on and who could recommend good vendors for us. We booked the full wedding planning package for our 90+ guest wedding, and we're so thankful that we did.

From the start, Michelle was warm, communicative, and knowledgeable. She recommended great vendors and organized everything into spreadsheets, and she sent frequent reminders throughout the year for us to complete our "homework" items. It's clear that Shing Weddings has an amazing reputation in the wedding industry, as all of our vendors were very happy to work with them. Michelle is fluent in both Mandarin and English, which was very helpful for our bilingual wedding, and she guided us through the traditional Chinese tea ceremony as well. She was super responsive and patient with our questions, and we felt like we were in great hands leading up to the wedding.

The day of the wedding far exceeded our wildest dreams thanks to the Shing Weddings team. Michelle, Lisa, Eva, and Jon were there to pamper us throughout the day, and we didn't have to lift a finger. The schedule proceeded flawlessly, perfectly on time, and we didn't feel a single moment of stress! The Shing Weddings team made sure we were hydrated, well fed, and well dressed at all times, and they are the primary reason that we were able to kick back and completely enjoy our wedding day with our family and friends. Our guests were blown away by how smoothly the day proceeded, and we got so many compliments for the Shing Weddings team.

Very glad I chose Shing Wedding for our wedding planning. I think most of the reviews echoes what we have experienced during the whole process and the wedding day itself. They are well versed in all manners regarding the wedding including Chinese customs and traditions. They were able to blend both western and eastern cultures into one fusion wedding. Not to mention well connected with other wedding vendors, giving us endless personalization and on top of that, we would often get additional complimentary things or even price reductions on certain vendors.

My spouse definitely enjoyed having a dedicated assistant follow her around. We had Anh and we wouldn't ask for more. Always around the corner with a cup of water, helping with the dress train, and even helping to carry our things around.

I've been to many weddings and never seen more than one planner. For our wedding, Michelle brought 3 more assistant/planners to help and they are definitely worth it!. Thank you Michelle, Anh, Alex, and Jocelyn and honorary mention to Lisa as well! You definitely missed the wedding of the year! :P

Their ability to execute a packed schedule, handle unexpected delays or challenges without a hitch, set up all our special details, make sure every guest had a great time, and keep a constant eye on our well-being (making sure we ate and hydrated!) was beyond impressive. The little touches, like making small bouquets for our guests, bringing hotel slippers and so much more, truly made our day extra special. Some exceptional elements (just a few of many), included Lu/Ivy who were with me throughout the entire day and being able to rest after the wedding with the team organizing everything for our pick up the next morning.

We have been inundated with compliments from our guests about how fantastic the team was - especially Lisa, and it’s easy to see why. We are so grateful to have had the team with us on our wedding day and incredibly thankful for all their hard work.

Our wedding day went smoothly thanks to the incredible day-of-coordinator team led by Eva! Eva's attentiveness and organization shone through from the moment we started working with her before the wedding day. She managed all vendor communications and ensured everyone knew the schedule, ironing out the nitty-gritty details with us well in advance. On the big day, Eva and her team—Jon, Alex, Crystal, and Sarah—were phenomenal, taking care of every detail so we could focus on our wedding. They were also very attentive to the guests. Eva and Jon stayed with us until the end, past midnight, ensuring both we and our family members got back to the hotel safely. Even post-wedding, Eva continued to help us close all the loose ends. We felt truly cared for and cannot recommend Eva and Shing Wedding highly enough!
