Could not recommend Shing Weddings more. We just worked with Eva, Lisa, and team for our wedding in May 2026 and had an amazing experience. Not only us as the couple, but we had so many of our guests individually come up to us and compliment our planners, because they went above and beyond to ensure all our guests were having a good time, that they had drinks or food they needed, etc. They made everything truly easy and you didn't need to think about anything other than enjoying yourself at the wedding. -

Shing Weddings was amazing. We planned everything from Boston and were only in town for a few days before the wedding but they made it feel easy from start to finish.
We had lots of planning calls with Eva leading up to the day, and she was thoughtful, had great suggestions, and was completely on top of every detail. On the wedding day, Lisa, Eva, and the team were incredible. They traveled with us from our getting-ready locations to our first look and then to the venue, keeping everything moving smoothly the whole time.
They took such good care of us. They kept us hydrated all day, which we absolutely would have forgotten to do ourselves. They saved plates of food for us and made sure we actually had time to sit down and eat. They also somehow prepared over 200 cups of tea for our tea ceremony!
They were calm, warm, and just genuinely great to have around. Because of Shing Weddings, we were able to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about it. We’re so grateful for everything they did and would recommend them in a heartbeat. -

We had an incredible experience working with Shing Weddings, and we truly cannot recommend them highly enough. Our principal planner, Michelle, was outstanding from start to finish. From the very beginning of the planning process all the way through to the wedding day itself, her communication was clear, timely, and thoughtful. She has exceptional attention to detail, was great with follow-ups, and always kept us on track. It was clear that she is a very experienced planner who truly knows what she’s doing, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout the process. Lisa and Eva were also wonderful supports on the day. Both were so warm and lovely throughout the wedding, and the entire team was attentive, smart, and incredibly helpful. One small but meaningful gesture that really stood out to us was when Lisa and Michelle noticed that my grandmother was having trouble walking and proactively went to grab food for her from the buffet. It was such a thoughtful detail - something we noticed and deeply appreciated - and it speaks volumes about their level of professionalism and genuine care. Both the rehearsal evening and the wedding day itself went so smoothly. The team was extremely prepared, had everything planned down to the minute, and truly brought our vision to life. We felt completely confident going into the wedding day knowing we were in such capable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shing Weddings to anyone looking for a wedding planner in Vancouver. They are exceptional at what they do, and we are so grateful to have worked with them! -

The best of the best!
We worked with Michelle and Lisa for 2 years planning our dream wedding and they were there for us every step of the way. Not only did they help us save a ton of money on experiences or things that we didn’t need, they also made sure to help us elevate every moment that truly needed it. They helped us select every vendor and gave their honest opinion on everything. They had our wedding day organized down to the minute so much so I just got to shut my brain off, enjoy every moment and wait for someone to tell me where to be. If I didn’t know better I’d say they have magical powers. Truly, from a first time bride to another if you want to enjoy the process and the day to the full extent, you MUST work with them! -

From the very beginning, their professionalism and calm, confident coordination set the tone for the entire day.
Shing’s team is incredibly attentive to detail. We really appreciate not just the way they care for the couple, but also how they anticipate the needs of every vendor involved. As photographers, we felt genuinely supported. They constantly checked in with us, made sure we had the space and time we needed, and seamlessly facilitated every moment to make sure our sessions go as smooth as possible.
Their ability to read situations, stay one step ahead, speaks volumes about their experience and intelligence as planners. Most importantly, they work with sincerity, kindness, and a true dedication to creating the best possible experience for the couple and all vendors on site.

We can’t thank Lisa and Eva enough for making our wedding day so seamless and unforgettable! She handled everything, from the planning and rehearsals to coordinating with vendors, with so much grace and professionalism.
Everything ran so smoothly from our tea ceremony to the church ceremony and all the way through the reception. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing because she was always one step ahead, making sure every detail was perfect.
Thank you for your energy, kindness, and for making the whole day flow effortlessly. We truly felt at peace knowing you were taking care of everything behind the scenes. Highly recommend Shing Weddings to any couple who wants their wedding to be stress-free and beautifully organized!

We were connected with Shing through a mutual friend. Eva was our planner and our wedding day was perfect. She had every detail pinned down and ensured that we got our perfect wedding. She has an honest and practical approach to wedding planning, ensuring that budgets are met but the resulting wedding experience is first class for the couple and the guests. Her warm, calm, pleasant and unflappable demeanor assured us that our day would be executed flawlessly and it was! I can genuinely say that she made the wedding planning process painless. We also saw how well respected and liked Shing is by our other vendors, which says so much about their services.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more incredible wedding planner than Michelle. From the very beginning, she took every bit of inspiration we had: Pinterest mood boards, half-baked ideas, and a wild Alice in Wonderland theme and transformed it into something far beyond our imagination. The ceremony was elegant and seamless, and the reception was an eccentric, magical dream that people are still talking about.
What impressed us most was Michelle’s level of dedication and communication. She would be up working at 2 a.m., messaging us before we even woke up, always available for a Zoom call, and somehow managing to respond instantly no matter the hour. Every concern was addressed with patience, clarity, and solutions backed by her experience. Michelle didn’t just follow our vision—she elevated it, offering creative ideas and thoughtful touches we never would have dreamed of on our own.
Her efficiency and resourcefulness blew us away. Michelle anticipated challenges, had backup plans ready for everything, and even used her industry connections to help us save money where possible. Despite juggling other weddings, she made us feel like we were her only clients. In just eight months, she pulled off what most would consider impossible.
We first found Michelle because she planned a friend’s wedding, and now after experiencing her work ourselves, we can’t recommend her highly enough. If you want a planner who is dedicated, creative, patient, hyper-organized, and who will make you feel completely supported every step of the way—Michelle is the one. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime professional for a once-in-a-lifetime day. -
