Month-of Coordination Experience
Like many couples who are detail-oriented and think they've already got it covered, we were hesitant about hiring a coordinator, let alone placing our trust in a new business. In the end, we were glad we did.Sent on 05/01/2019
A few weeks before our reception, Michelle met us at our venue to walk through every aspect of our event. She enthusiastically took notes and appreciated all the details. Her calm and pleasant demeanor made working with her a pleasure. Michelle was a huge help leading up to the wedding with coordinating last-minute issues that needed clarification from vendors. On the day of, she followed through in executing our vision perfectly, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out.
Our only gripe was that it was sometimes hard to find her when we needed her during the event itself but, to be fair, it was a huge wedding. Crimson & Clover provides a great experience at a fantastic value, and we would recommend them to everyone!

My day was perfect!
I don't have a single complaint! Our day was beyond brilliant and we couldn't have done it without Michelle. She is so well organized, has fabulous ideas, and has a way with keeping the people around her calm, cool, and collected.

We worked with Michelle for day-of-coordination services and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. Instantly upon connecting with her, she was warm, kind, professional, responsive, and had a great sense of humour! I found her to be very thorough, catching different details I had overlooked that saved us a lot of time and headache. The best wedding planner ever!
Michelle MADE our wedding, seriously we could not have done it without her! From her quick responsiveness, willingness to always give advice (no matter how random the question might have been), organization, professionalism, personality, attention to detail, and ability to customize everything to really fit into your vision, to her LAST MINUTE MAJOR PROBLEM SOLVING - everything was just outstanding! She guided us through what needs to be worked on when, and gave advice on things like how to get an alcohol permit and how much is a reasonable price to pay for an officiant etc. She made everything so much easier and less stressful.Sent on 17/09/2019
You don't need an event planner - you need Michelle!
About ten days out from the wedding we thought we might need to get a new caterer as they had not responded to us in some time. TEN DAYS. Michelle had our backs and even had a replacement caterer on stand-by ready to go in case things continued to go south. Honestly if we didn't have Michelle to keep things cool I have no idea what we would have done. We could not have found a replacement that quickly. Luckily the caterer came through in the end but issues like that are not something I want to go through.
From the minute I saw her website I already had a super good feeling about her and I was so excited to show my fiance. We we having an un-wedding as I like to call it without a lot of traditional stuff and a more modest budget and we were having an outdoor theme. When we first met with Michelle she was excited about our ideas and gave us plenty of ideas to stay within budget. Other event planners made us feel bad for not having this huge budget to work with but Michelle gave us confidence that we could still have our dream day and not break the bank (and we did!).
My finance and I opted for partial planning as we were super busy but we were willing to take on some of the tasks ourselves and this was the greatest decision we ever made. Michelle took care of the venue and the caterer - we just told her what we were looking for as best we could (events and weddings really aren't in our vocabulary) and she delivered perfectly! She handled all of the nitty gritty of the contract which can vary so much between vendors it made us feel very confident moving forward.
And then the one of the BEST parts of having a wedding planner is Michelle took care of EVERYTHING 6 weeks out including scheduling deliveries, checking over (and catching!!!) contract issues, receiving deliveries, helping to set up (so your guests and you can enjoy the wedding, not light candles or set up favours...), ensured everything moved on time the day of, took care of EVERYTHING the day of (we just relaxed and enjoyed the day), and she was soooo great about cleaning up that night there was hardly anything to do the next day - and we had a TON of handmade decor.
Our vendors went out of their way to tell me on the wedding day that Michelle was the best wedding planner they ever worked with so if you don't trust one bride's opinion, how about professionals in the industry!
Michelle's personality is perfect for a wedding planner. She is always calm and collected even when there are fires to be put out all around you (like oh Michelle we forgot the place cards for about 15 guests the day before the wedding...and she fixed it!). She makes you feel special and important and no matter how wacky your idea is for your wedding she is DOWN and will not make you feel wacky for wanting/not wanting something and will not try and push you in any certain direction. She makes it your day!
The wedding day was perfect and we owe a lot of that to Michelle.

Working with Crimson & Clover Events was a dream!
When we decided to get married, we were both like deer caught in headlights when it came to planning an event. They were so patient and knew all of the right questions to ask in order to capture our vision and bring it to life in such a seamless, professional, and beautiful way.
Michelle took all of our worries away and was incredibly supportive through the entire process. We chose a restaurant as a venue and planned everything in 7 months - her event-planning knowledge and expertise was critical to our day being as amazing as it was.
Our wedding was beautiful, and it could not have happened without Crimson & Clover Events. They made our day everything that we didn't know that we wanted. I absolutely recommend them!
