Set up services

I really enjoyed working with Cherylea and her team. They made my vision for my wedding come true and the venue looked amazing when I walked in ! It was very easy to contact their team and we communicated back and forth via email to confirm any changes to the wedding set up and decor.

Horrible Company

I hired cher for day of wedding coordination. I was unaware of what to expect from a wedding coordinator and thought I was getting a great deal. I instantly regretted hiring her, but I thought I could make the best of it. I was very wrong.
She messaged me non-stop through her personal Facebook account offering me vendors and information. She would even message me late at night, often waking me up. I would thank her for her advice to be polite, but tell her if I need anything I would contact her. She didn't get the hint. If I didn't respond to her messages, she would message me through her business account. If I didn't respond to that, she would text me.
She does not seem to listen or care about her clients. I told her a dozen times I had hired a florist and a photographer, but that didn't stop her from repeatedly offering me "someone amazing to do it".
When I politely told her how I felt about her lack of professionalism and attention to detail she was rude and told me she was away for the weekend and couldn't be expected to remember everything.
She harassed me about going to a hair and makeup trail at her house with her team so I finally agreed and brought my maid of honour. The entire time I was there Cher complained about how the day was dragging on forever and it was so boring. She ended up laying on the couch for most of the time while complaining about various things. One of which being that wedding planner certification is too expensive and she doesn't want to deal with that.
In the end my maid of honour and I left without Cher saying a word to us... Couldn't even get up off the couch. Our hair looks like a rats nest and our makeup looked like we were going to compete in a clown competition.
After too many poor experiences with her I decided to do my homework. When we hired her she said she had worked as a event planner for years. Turns out that is a lie. If you looks at her LinkedIn, you can see the details. I asked Cher to see her business license and she refused to provide it. I checked with the city of Abbotsford and she was like a license business. After confronting her with this information she agreed to return my deposit so we could part ways. She then blocked me through her business account so I could not leave a review.
Based on my horrible experience, I don't believe that anyone should ever hire this business.

Cher and her team did a great job. It is definately worth while to have a team on the large amount of little details that go into a wedding.
They kept everyone on track with where and what they needed to be doing. They ensured the bride and groom (us) had plenty of food and water for themselves and the bridal party.
With a a big event there are a lot of people and each with their varying opinions, Cher's team kept everyone to the outlined plan preventing unwanted changes by bold family members.

I higly recommend having a professional keeping track of everything so you can enjoy the moment. Chers team will do just that.

Cher was great! I would recommend her and her team to anyone need a little extra help and piece of mind on their big day. She was willing to meet with me with me as many times as I needed before the day of the wedding as well as the night before just to make sure that everything would run as smoothly as possible. Her and her team were adaptable and open minded to anything that was thrown their way.

We hired C U Go Events for their day of coordinator and decor set-up services. The wedding venue was Stanley Park Pavilion, which also provided a separate venue coordinator.

Communication & Professionalism:
The day of coordinator (DOC), Cher was fairly easy to reach, either via email, facebook, whatsapp, or telephone. We met in person 2 times prior to the actual wedding (1st meeting and 2nd rehearsal). We booked the services in January for our wedding in August, and starting communicating towards the end of June up until the wedding. Post wedding, we sent an email to Cher with our feedback, to which she arranged a time to call us to speak on the phone. We shared our concerns and provided constructive feedback, and Cher shared her reasons.

Decor Set-up:
I provided Cher with organized bins for each area along with photos of the set up. Her team put the decor together beautifully and improvised where necessary. When I walked into the venue, I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked!

Organization:
At our 1st meeting, Cher was very organized and had printed out all the decor photos and decor descriptions we had discussed. We were asked to fill out a thorough multi-page questionnaire prior to the wedding so that the team could better understand our vision for the wedding. It would have been beneficial for Cher to have referred more to this questionnaire the day of.

The day-of organization could have been better, and communication between DOC and venue coordinator could have been smoother. There may have been a clash in personality, which affected the flow of the rest of the day. The flow of the ceremony procession could have also been improved. There was some confusion between the DOC and photographer roles during the family/friends photo session, which was the most stressful part of the day for us. Cher also appeared to be stressed and flustered during this part of the day.

Bridal Assistant:
Bridal assistant, Kristen, was also part of the C U Go Events team for the DOC services. She was truly a godsend! She was calm, collected, and attentive, anticipating all my needs. In the moments when I was most frazzled, she would appear and ask me what I needed. And most importantly, she was reliable and quick to take action. She was also present during the rehearsal, and extremely helpful, from calming down a hyper puppy, to helping hold a 7 month baby! I can't say enough great things about her!

Overall, we feel that the day could have been managed better with more organization and professionalism.

Our coordinator, Cher, and her assistant Krystle did such an awesome job making sure we were all organized leading up to and including the day of and took so much stress off my plate. I highly recommend using them for your day of coordinating or month of coordinating needs. I also used them for take down and that was great too! Took some tasks off my families plates! Cher really went the extra mile and helped me find all my vendors leading up to the wedding.

Cher and her assistant Krystal worked my July 2017 wedding at Maan Farms in Abbotsford and did a fantastic job. My husband was a little hesitant as to why we would need a coordinator for the day of our wedding, and to his surprise, he was glad he listened to me! Cher was very attentive the months leading up to the big day, she corresponded with my vendors to ensure the day went smoothly, during the event she was on point to get us anything we needed and dealt with any situation that arose before I was even aware of the situation! I also had them take care of the cleanup which was executed quickly and efficiently allowing me and my husband to fully enjoy the big day! Cher knows how to get stuff done, and she most certainly picked the right profession. I can say that my wedding went off without a hitch, or at least that's how it appeared to me (which is EXACTLY why having a coordinator is so fantastic!)

My husband and I got married July 8 2017 and had Cher with us to coordinate the day. Cher was a dream to work with, reliable and organized which really supported us during the month leading up. Cher was my sounding board for decor and ideas, shoulder to lean on during the stressful times and the puppet master when it came to executing the plan. She came prepared for every consultation and her welcome package and questionnaire were so helpful for us during the home stretch. She kept up with all the changes and made me have little involvement when there was bumps along the way. I would hear about the solution and how it went and that was one of the best things about hiring Cher. I never carried the weight of last minute hiccups, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently and it gave me much more time to enjoy the wedding festivities leading up to our big day. Much more than a coordinater Cher and her assistant Krystal took extra photos for us and taped our special moments "just because" which was so sweet and showed how far they will go to make the day above and beyond your expectations. With my big family these two women managed the crowd with ease, were quick on their feet with all my little neices and nephews and were a joy to introduce and interact with my family. Can't thank them enough for the support and I see more success in their future because of their work ethic and professionalism.

Where do I even begin? Cher and her team were so amazing and helpful, I could not have done it without them. As a day of coordinator Cher went above and beyond, not only on the day of our wedding, but the months leading up to it. We had 2 face to face meetings and went over every detail, it really helped me knowing someone else understood my vision and truly cared to bring it to life. Cher would check in regularly and make sure I had everything I needed. But her professionalism and attention to detail really shined on the day of our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch (other then the weather haha), Cher and Krystal even set up my curling iron and a mirror so I could touch up my hair after pictures, and at one point in the night Cher was even heating up a bottle for my MOH's baby! I had several people approach me throughout the night commenting on how helpful and great they were. And at the end of the evening the take down crew packed away everything neatly and everything was accounted for. I would 100% recommend Cher and her team. Thank you so much you guys!!!
