Working with Brilliant Events was one of the best decisions we made during our destination wedding planning journey. From the very beginning, Liz brought an amazing blend of warmth, professionalism, and calm that made us feel instantly at ease. She was always quick to respond, incredibly organized, and never once missed a detail, which made the whole process of planning a wedding feel less overwhelming and so much fun.

What really stood out was how honest and authentic she was. If something didn’t make sense or felt off, she wasn’t afraid to speak up to offer guidance. Her honesty felt like a breath of fresh air. It all came together so beautifully: florals, catering, music, photography, cake, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception…. Literally everything. The end result truly surpassed our wildest dreams.

When I got engaged the first thing I thought was, surely I can do this all myself. As I began to plan- and let me tell you I am organised!- I realised. Why am I putting so much stress on myself on a day that I will only get once. I sprung online and I am so so so grateful I found Liz. She is organised, hilarious, kind and absolutely brilliant at what she does. The name does not fall short of what I received as a service. Liz took care of me and everyone in my bridal party and family. She had all the nerves taken away and I look back on that day and not one thing was out of place or wrong. She was pure perfection. Liz and the Brilliant Events team went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend one for the books.

We had tasked her with quite the challenge - two wedding ceremonies in one weekend. First a Hindu wedding on the Friday, and a Jewish wedding on the Sunday. Hosting 200+ guests for multiple events is a huge undertaking and Liz and her team made it look easy. All while being an absolute pleasure to work with.

We felt heard every step of the way and were allowed to have as much involvement as we wanted throughout the process. The ask to integrate cultural elements of two demanding religious was challenging, and Liz took it in stride. They learned all the names and details of both traditions, delivering incredible events that both represented our Indian and Jewish communities, while also making each event our own.

One of the best things that came out of working with Brilliant Events is the network they have in the Sea to Sky corridor. From florals, to photographers, videographers, even local artisans for our welcome bags, Liz was on it. And the people she surrounds herself are the most talented and easiest to work with.

In addition to the thorough planning process, Liz and her team executed the weekend flawlessly. This was a logistically complex and operationally challenging weekend to pull off, and everything went off without a hitch because of Liz’s attention to detail, communication with her team and all our vendors, and exceptional execution ability.

We’re already thinking of another reason to have an event, for the sole purpose of working with Brilliant Events again.

Liz delivered us a gorgeous, stress-free, and super fun wedding. I had no idea how smart I was to hand her the reins - super collaborative and incredibly professional. I don't know if wedding planners get better than this.

Liz and her team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. Not only by showing up on the day and ensuring everything ran perfectly on schedule (without, for one second, taking away from the emotion of the day or making it feel rushed) but by being incredibly responsive and supportive in the time leading up to the day. Liz anticipated and solved so many potential issues for us well before those issues had even crossed our minds.

Brilliant Events is also very clearly a well respected company in the wedding industry, as each of our vendors went out of their way to tell us how lucky we were to have Liz and her team helping us out (and we understand why!).

Weddings are a ton of fun, but they can be very stressful for those organizing leading up to the day - Liz and her team took so much of that stress away. This was easily the best investment we made for our wedding, and would strongly encourage anyone planning a wedding (or any other event for that matter) to engage Liz and her team.

It's not possible to capture the magic of Brilliant Events in words. You have to experience it to understand. I was a stupidly busy bride in the lead-up to our wedding, and all I can say is Every. Last. Detail was handled. I have not one thing these women could have done differently. They showed up as coordinators and left as friends. Liz Tiedman and Hayley Cianca had to navigate all kinds of gong shows, many of which I didn't even know about; all they'd say was "I got you". They so did. Every guest we spoke with said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Thanks, ladies. Looking forward to debriefing over drinks one of these days!
