As an Officiant, I love it when couples have great wedding planners who can take the stress off the couple, pull all the people & vision together and deliver the couple’s dream. Celine & Nicole are absolutely outstanding at coordinating many moving pieces seamlessly and delivering dream weddings. My husband and I cannot recommend above and beyond event planning enough!
I will start by saying above and beyond was the 4th wedding planning company I spoke with - but Celine from above and beyond was the first person who I felt like was truly listening to my vision.
Fast forward 6 months and Celine brought this vision to life (even better than I could have imagined)!
We hired above and beyond for their full planning services and this was the best decision, honestly worth every penny.
I actually enjoyed planning parts of my wedding knowing that whenever it got stressful Celine would fully step in. She generated so many good ideas, communicated completely with all vendors, and helped the whole evening run so smoothly.
Planning a wedding during a pandemic should have been stressful but it wasn’t. Above and beyond was able to flip our small family only ceremony, re vamp the decor, and turn it into a small covid friendly ceremony to celebrate with our closest friends. Not only did she think of everything, but her and her team was there so early setting everything up, and they did not stop all evening.

We were initially hesitant about using a wedding planner but eventually decided to hire Nicole for the two-month takeover contract. But even before we had fully made a decision, Nicole was more than willing to answer questions, ease some of the wedding planning stresses & anxieties with care and ease. Chatting with her for the first time was like talking to someone we already knew and unlike other wedding planners we spoke with she seemed truly interested and invested with us and the wedding; not with getting a contract signed and money in her pocket.

Nicole is great at communicating. She is quick to answer questions, provide feedback, and offer suggestions whenever asked.
She collaborated, problem-solved, and is exceptionally thorough with coordinating and communicating with all vendors and people involved.

Leading up to the event, she ensured we had covered everything we needed, and helped us source out the vendors and things we were still looking for with care and kept our vision and budget in mind.
During the day she ran everything so smoothly, we didn't need to spend any of our time thinking about what needed to be done, what was coming up or how things were going. This was amazing because it enabled us to focus on enjoying the moment and celebrating with our friends and family. She was even prepared to help out with minor dress malfunctions, keeping us fed, navigating the seamless arrival of some latecomers, and making sure everything was running the way we had envisioned.
After the event, she checked in and followed up to see how we were doing and how we felt the day went.

A number of friends have used her or are using her and I have heard nothing but fantastic things. Her skill, professionalism, quality of service, communication, and overall awesomeness has become even more apparent through the stories of how supportive and graceful she has been navigating and supporting her couples that are planning weddings amid the uncertainty brought with COVID-19.

Hiring Above and Beyond was the decision we made for the wedding! They were there for us to answer any questions leading up to the big day and they made the wedding day stress-free! My button on my tuxedo popped off and they even sewed it back on.

Nicole and Celine were my sanity when we had to postpone five days our from our original date, and swiftly picked up the pieces to help us re-plan our new dream day - Nicole from her hotel room in Amsterdam! On the day, Celine and Negin flawlessly executed my vision and put together a day beyond our wildest dreams! To say they went above and beyond for us is a true understatement and we are so grateful to have them in our lives. The best decision we made in our wedding planning process was hiring them! I could not recommend them more!

They gave us wonderful suggestions, came up with creative solutions to any challenges that arose, were polite when expressing disagreement, put us in contact with incredible vendors, and, on the day of the event, made sure everything went smoothly without letting me (the bride), the groom, or our family members lift a finger.
