We are so grateful to have had Norbert and Max photograph our wedding. They captured the day so beautifully and authentically, from the big moments to all the little in-betweens. Norbert and Nicole were our wedding photographers earlier this summer and we truly enjoyed working with both of them, and having them involved on the day of! We love how they were able to capture some of our most important and sentimental moments in such a candid and emotional way. We loved their natural style, and they went above and beyond to make us (and our guests) feel comfortable and like ourselves throughout the day. In addition, Norbert was able to accommodate some specific requests like film portraits. We also shot with Gosia during our engagement shoot and we had the same (wonderful) experience - it is clear that their team shares a consistent vision and approach. Norbert and his team went above and beyond with the number of engagement photos we received as well as the sneak-peek following the wedding!

Choosing a wedding photographer felt like one of the biggest and most difficult decisions we had to make. You’re essentially trusting someone to shape how you’ll remember one of the most important days of your life. We didn’t want our wedding to feel like a photoshoot—we wanted to actually live the day. We didn’t want to be pulled away from our guests for hours or spend the whole time posing. That’s exactly why we chose Ever After Photographers, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made.

From our very first meeting, Norbert told us something that stuck with us: he said about 30% of the time we’d know photos were being taken, and the other 70% of the time, we wouldn’t even notice him. And that’s exactly how it felt. Of course, we took a few posed photos with family and friends, but beyond that, especially during the reception and party, I had no idea photos were being taken until we got them back. And they are incredible.

Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken before, and we were so apprehensive. We genuinely thought it would be the worst part of the day. But that changed during our engagement shoot. Norbert made us feel completely at ease—he’s warm, calm, and kind, and somehow made the whole experience fun. We weren’t posing or thinking about our posture, we were just us. I was nervous to even see the engagement photos because I didn’t think I “posed properly,” but when we got them back, they were absolutely stunning. That’s when I knew we were in good hands for the wedding.

On the big day, Norbert didn’t just take pictures—he added to our experience. He got our friends and family to answer questions about our relationship and tell stories. He asked us what we were most excited for, what we hoped for, what we loved about each other. These moments, which only took a few quiet minutes, ended up grounding us amidst the busyness and gave us time to really reflect and connect. That alone was worth every penny. Then we got the photos back… and I don’t even know how to describe them.

Norbert captured everything. The emotion, the beauty, the chaos, the joy, the tiny details I worked so hard on, and even moments I missed or didn’t even know happened. Everyone looks so natural and happy. The laughter is real. The love is real.

Writing this review is hard because there’s too much good to say. I truly believe no one else could have done what Norbert did for us. He didn’t just photograph our wedding—he told the story of it. And now we get to relive it, beautifully and authentically, for the rest of our lives.

I don't know where to start... there is so much to say about Norbert and Ever After Photographers.
We have loved Ever After Photographers's photography for a long time now and we were so excited to have them on our wedding day. When we postponed our wedding due to Covid, Norbert was the first vendor I contacted as I wanted to be sure he was available for our new date. He did not only capture our day perfectly, he also ensured our day ran as smoothly as possible. We didn't spend too much time away from our guests taking photos and he made us feel so relaxed all day. We really felt that we got to enjoy more of our day thanks to Norbert. On the morning of my wedding, my bridesmaids joked that I was looking forward to seeing Norbert more than my groom!! :)

We had a wonderful experience with this team! Norbert did an amazing job on our engagement photos, and Elaine and Logan were incredible on our wedding day. Despite heavy rain, Elaine handled everything with such professionalism and ease. She quickly adapted to indoor settings when needed and kept an eye out for breaks in the rain so we could still capture outdoor shots.

The team is fantastic to work with—just great people who made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. They even delivered more photos than we expected, which was such a treat!

The only thing I’d mention is that it would have been ideal to have the same photographer for both the engagement shoot and wedding. We didn't realize we'd be scheduled with a different photographer and we found out about the switch a little over a month out from the wedding. We only met Elaine on the wedding day, and while she was absolutely wonderful, the last-minute change added a bit of stress leading up to the wedding.

That said, Elaine and Logan went above and beyond on our wedding day, and the photos turned out stunning. We highly recommend this team if you’re looking for talented, reliable, and all-around amazing photographers!

I’m so glad I chose Norbert as my wedding photographer! From the beginning, I got a very good feeling about him and just knew he’d be perfect for our big day. He’s very kind, attentive, and really listens to your needs for how you want the photos to be! He’s also very flexible, as he was able to bring a second photographer for the day of, even though I asked somewhat last minute. What a wonderful experience working with Norbert! My husband and I connected with Norbert with a request to not only capture us as a married couple, but also capture us as a family with our two pups. From the get go, Norbert put us at ease, set us up for success (by allowing us to be us!), and gave us meaningful prompts that allowed us to be more candid.
