We identified photography as being a particularly important element of our wedding and after reviewing and interviewing numerous photographers we chose Elaine based on her vision and ability to capture emotion. Neither of us particularly enjoy taking photos, but it was paramount for us to ensure that we were able to capture the memories of our wedding day in something concrete and physical. Elaine’s eye for small details and ability to capture posed shots without making us feel awkward cannot be emphasized enough. We both felt comfortable and excited throughout the day and were buoyed by the energy and enthusiasm from both Elaine and her second shooter Duane. We appreciated how patient, flexible and accommodating Elaine was not only during the day of our wedding but in the time leading up. In addition to the wedding, we contracted Elaine for engagement shots a year prior to the wedding and the day before for two tea ceremonies. Throughout the various issues that arose in the day, Elaine and Duane were helpful and always professional not only with us but with family and friends which is an important skill that should not be underestimated when dealing with large weddings. Elaine took time to scope out our ceremony venue at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald as well as locations in the surrounding area and provide alternatives in case of inclement weather. We were lucky to have a slightly overcast day with only a hint of rain and that allowed us to fully use the splendid grounds of the Fairmont, the rich textures of Lux Steakhouse + Bar and fortuitously an armored personnel carrier from the Canadian Military.
We both appreciated how comfortable and personable Elaine and Duane were and feel that made a significant difference in our enjoyment of our wedding day that was reflected in the photos that were captured. I would highly recommend Elaine and hope to use her to capture more family memories in the future.

Elaine is AMAZING! She is very professional and talented and was a lot fun to work with! She's also very friendly and immediately puts you at ease and calms your nerves during your crazy hectic day. She even brought me food as I was switching between gowns *hug Elaine* and didn't have time to stomach anything! She has a keen eye that captured all of our wedding details including the details I forgot to tell her about or didn't notice myself. She never misses the perfect moment, the smiles, the laughter, the exchange of looks...the things you missed because you were crazy busy with something else at that moment. But I'm very grateful to Elaine who has turned all those beautiful moments I missed into a wonderful memory that I can cherish and look back on. I couldn't be happier with our choice! Thanks Elaine!

Elaine was amazing to work with! She communicated very promptly, was always on time, and was professional in her services. The photos she took of our wedding were amazing! She captured all the important moments in a beautiful and artistic fashion and chose great locations for formals. She made us feel at ease while taking photos and provided all the cuing to create amazing shots. She was also flexible and willing to stay longer at our reception to capture a few more memories. Her turn around time was prompt and on schedule.

Elaine shot our wedding in Banff this past summer, and she also did our two engagement sessions a couple months prior. We spent a lot of time researching and interviewing different photographers, and we could not have asked for a better photographer to share our special moments. Elaine was a consummate professional - always on time, responsive with emails, easy to work with - and she was warm and enthusiastic during the photo shoots. She has a great eye and chose locations that suited our personalities. The quality of her photos far exceeded our high expectations, and having her around our wedding and engagement was a pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend Elaine to capture someone's special day. Elaine is exceptional.

Truly a great experience for us, she captured all the right moments.
It was a brutally hot and busy day for us, but she kept our spirits up and made the photos very enjoyable. I really valued not having to worry about the quality and the direction for our wedding photography. what i loved most, was she understood our personalities and took pictures that was a value to us (funny offside moments, group moments, etc)

i would strongly recommend Elaine to everyone!

Elaine, and her second shooter Duane, were a fabulous team. I am sure Elaine is a very busy photographer; however, she always was able to meet us or have discussions whenever I needed. Her flexibility is remarkable! She always responded to me within one day. Elaine and Duane are very professional, but always maintain a fun, positive and happy vibe.

The price to invest in Elaine as a photographer was very reasonable and comparable to other high caliber Edmonton photographers for multi-day wedding packages. Elaine works very hard for you and she is well worth the investment.

The quality of Elaine's work is excellent. Every picture is framing quality. No unacceptable blurry, poor quality, or eyes-closed-pictures were sent to us. Instead we received many, many high quality images with artistic characteristics. I loved her and Duane's abilities to capture colours, scenery, and special moments.

Elaine is extremely skillful at selecting photography locations, and positioning of people. We did not have to come up with any positioning ideas, which was so stress-free when you are already so busy with other wedding details.

Elaine is very organized and will keep on schedule, if that is what you want. I wanted a very tight schedule so that my photography hours were allocated for specific times each of my wedding event days. She ensures beforehand, who is responsible for adding photography hours and who she should report to with any issues.

I highly recommend Elaine Green Photography if you are looking for very experienced photographers who can ensure that you have a stress-free fun time being photographed during your wedding!

Elaine was very professional and pleasant to work with. She is quite creative from what we have seen so far with a sample of our pictures. I would recommend Elaine to anyone requiring pictures of any sort. She was quite accommodating when we required her to stay a few more hours after our reception.

We couldn't have made a better decision in choosing our wedding photographer; we had understandably high expectations after looking at the online portfolio. Though I have to say, Elaine more then exceeded anything that we might have imagined.

My husband and I especially loved that we did an engagement shoot, which was something we hadn't previously planned on. It made us feel a lot more comfortable on our wedding day and we actually ended up loving the engagement photos so much that we chose to purchase them as well.

Great to work with and scouted out locations to meet our photography "wants". Provided us with a list of second photographers that we were able to choose from and meet and discuss our vision with. Gave us our photos in a timely manner in multiple formats for both printing and Web use. Great creativity, enthusiastic, and wonderful to work with.
