Jessica and her husband photographed our wedding. We lived out of town so did not have the chance to do the engagement session. Even though our wedding day was the first time we had actually met, it was like we had been friends for years. They were so fun and accommodating. I was sad to see them leave at the end of the night. You can tell Jessica has had a lot of experience with wedding photography. She came well prepared for the day and even met with me in advance to make sure the day would run smoothly. Jessica was the most amazing vendor to work with and we could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out. She has a way of putting everyone at ease and she also has wonderful eye at catching some truly beautiful moments on film. Do yourself a favor and book her before she fills up. Meet the team
I'm Jess, the girl behind the lens of Candid Connection Photography. Unlike some photographers who always knew they loved taking pictures, I actually didn't find my passion for photography until a little later in life. I mean, don't get me wrong, as a teenager, I loved a good selfy! But my true passion for capturing moments behind the lens didn't begin until my oldest son was a year old. My husband and he were playing at the park by our house, and as I watched them I just felt inspired! I wanted to remember the look on my son's face, and my husband playing and laughing with him. So I decided to whip out my phone and take some shots. Now, those first shots are not exactly what I would call "portfolio worthy" but every time I look at them I am so happy to have that moment to remember forever. I'll never forget that day. I fell in love with capturing moments and I knew this was something I wanted to be able to give back to others in a big way. I love being able to freeze a memory of emotion in time for couple to look back on for years to come and remember exactly how they felt during one of the happiest times of their lives.
