Amy Cheng Photography is based out of Red Deer, Alberta and services the entire Central Alberta region. In operation since 2014, I offer a more personalized and boutique experience for your wedding day. I strive to build a strong relationship with all my couples, which enables me to capture real moments that touch the people connected to them.

It is a privilege to live in the Central Alberta area where we have plenty of beautiful backdrops to choose from including parks, waterways, mountains, badlands, beaches, forests, fields and urban settings. My engagement sessions are never rushed and focus on the simplicity of connection. I help create moments of togetherness among couples through a variety of posed and candid movements, making sure that you feel comfortable and have fun throughout our time together. It is my goal (and honour!) to create quality images that my clients want to showcase in their homes and share with family and friends.

Rest assured that I only photograph with full frame, professional equipment. You'll see TWO cameras hanging off of me all day long, and I always bring a third camera as a backup in case something happens (nothing ever has...knock on wood!). Each of my cameras has dual memory slots which means that I'm capturing your day on TWO memory cards. When I get home, I backup your images to TWO different locations and keep the memory cards in a fireproof safe until I deliver all the images to you. My 10+ years of photography has taught me to consider everything that could go wrong, and make sure that I do everything in my power to NOT let it. :)
