Valérie is a documentary wedding photographer from the Outaouais region, Ottawa, who also specializes in adventure, family, portraiture and product photography. She is passionate about portraying people and nature through stunning imagery. Valérie aims to provide excellent services to create unique photos that truly represent her clients and is available to shoot at any locations in Canada and also abroad.
Services offered
Valérie blends various photography styles like contemporary, photojournalism and portraiture to perfectly depict her subjects. She only covers one event per day and is ready to work additional hours. If necessary, she will add a second photographer for the shoot and provides services like:

No news since 1 year and a half
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the services of Aura Photography. My wife and I received Valerie's services for our wedding on October 5, 2021. To this day, we still have not received our photos and we have tried many times to reach her by email, phone or via social networks but we are unable to reach her. It's unfortunate because Valerie offered us an exceptional service on our wedding day and she is a very nice and helpful person. It's been a year and a half since we paid for our wedding photos...we are still hoping to receive them one day...

Phenomenal Services!
Aura was amazing! Both Valerie and Laurence were fantastic to work with. They are so warm and easygoing, they truly captured the intimacy during our day. We had to change venues last minute, the day of the wedding, and without skipping a beat these 2 lovely ladies were so flexible in moving to our new location. I have received a sneak peak of our day and am over the moon with what they captured! My family all asked who I hired because they all want Aura to capture their children's future weddings as well! I got so many compliments about these 2 amazing ladies; you will no be disappointed! I am dying to see the rest of the photos!

Une expérience inoubliable!
Ce fût un réel plaisir de travailler avec Valérie (et Laurence!). Valérie a une approche très terre à terre et organique avec ses clients, dès la première rencontre c’était comme si on se connaissait de longue date! Très professionnelle, elle a su nous mettre en confiance. Elle était à l’écoute de nos besoins et nous a même fait un « package » personnalisé en fonction de ce qu’on voulait. Lors de notre mariage, c’est Laurence qui était sur place pour capturer notre journée. Elle a su nous rendre à l’aise devant la caméra et a capturé les plus beaux moments spontanés. Valérie s’est occupé de la portion « editing » des photos et elles sont à couper le souffle. Valérie et Laurence sont clairement passionnées de leur art et je recommande Aura Photographie à tous! Un énorme merci pour les plus belles photos de mariage! :)

Amazing photographer and exceptional service
We had the privilege to have Val as our photographer for our wedding in September 2017. Val is an exceptionally talented photographer. Her ability to capture truly authentic and candid moments made for stunning photos that truly reflect the day of our wedding. She made us feel extremely comfortable, and although she captured every moment, we hardly ever noticed her presence. Val's attention to detail, communication and desire to create photographs that go beyond the typical and cliché wedding poses sets her apart from most other photographers. We would definitely recommend her to anyone!
