Working with Barbara was such a pleasure and a comfort for us during the wedding planning process. As a couple who doesn’t get many opportunities/time to sit down and reflect on where we started, how far we’ve come as a couple and as individuals, how our love has grown, and where we are today, it felt like an incredible gift to receive that moment. And it wasn’t just on the wedding day, but all the coordination and meetings leading up, to make sure our ceremony reflected exactly what we were looking for. It meant SO much to us. On the wedding day, Barbara was such a calming presence. We were both nervous to be up on display in front of everyone (even if it was our nearest and dearest haha), but having the familiarity of her voice, the ceremony we had gone over, it really helped settle our nerves and get into the moment. She also did an amazing job at keeping the ceremony going at a good pace, and not going too fast (something I am prone to do under stress haha). This also really helped us be in the moment, and as a result the ceremony is actually the aspect of the whole day I remember most vividly! Other aspects were truly such a blur. I am so grateful for this! Barbara is truly gifted at what she does, warm and welcoming to work with, a comfort to have around, and intuitive. Our guests also had great feedback, they loved her pre-amble right before the ceremony so everyone got a bit of background/insight into the fact that we worked together in this ceremony (not cookie cutter), they loved how she addressed them, the inclusion of the crowd at moments in the ceremony, etc. Lastly to note that there were some elements of the ceremony we discussed and then my husband and I changed our minds or wanted to completely scrap something and Barbara was super open and receptive, even when we flip flopped on certain things! Zero regrets booking Barbara and if you are looking for a collaborative experience with someone who truly cares about telling your story authentically and including all the little details you hoped for, this is the officiant for you! Barbara was absolutely wonderful to work with and our ceremony was more beautiful than we could have imagined. She was so easy to work with, helping us to design our ceremony so that it was personal and meaningful to us and our family. She was very responsive and really took the time to get to know us and our relationship, coming up with a ceremony that was so special to us. Her ideas were brilliant and it was a relief knowing we could trust her with the most important part of our wedding planning.

We knew Barbra was The One when we had our zoom meeting with her. Her energy is infectious, her laugh is contagious and her spirit is genuine. She gave us our fair share of homework and it really makes you think about your partner and relationship in a new light. The way she puts the ceremony together and made our guests feel like they were a part of our story from the start, filling in where we started, how we grew, and how we got to the point of marriage was so so special.
