Abegael Fisher-Lang is a certified Life Cycle Celebrant, longtime master storyteller, and specialist in Cultural & Spiritual Ritual. For the past 20 years, she has created a full range of ceremonies for couples, families, and communities to mark big life changes in a meaningful way. She has been on the teaching faculty of the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, the gold standard training for celebrancy in North America, and has received WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards since 2014.

An Absolute Treasure
Abegael was the cornerstone of our incredible wedding ceremony. From our very first conversation, she took the time to understand who we are as a couple and the experience we wanted to create. With every planning call, we became even more excited for the ceremony we were building together.
She thoughtfully incorporated meaningful traditions, including a ring warming, handfasting, and the calling of the corners, which made our ceremony deeply personal and unlike any wedding we had ever attended. Her beautiful storytelling and poetic approach created a heartfelt experience that resonated with everyone present.
We had guest after guest tell us it was one of, if not the best wedding ceremony they had ever witnessed. Abegael also invited our guests to participate by providing bells and singing bowls, making the ceremony feel even more engaging, interactive, and memorable.

Highly Recommend!
My husband and I searched high and low for a celebrant like Abegael and we feel so lucky to have found her. A Celebrant with Depth & Heart
Hiring Abegael of Life Threads Ceremonies as our officiant and wedding celebrant was such a good decision! A close friend of mine recommended her to us, as Abegael also held her wedding ceremony. We felt confident with her from the start - she was the only celebrant we interviewed. Abegael was thoughtful and brought a new layer depth and meaning into the experience. She graciously fit us into her schedule with short notice. We really enjoyed our experience with her and recommend her wholeheartedly. Beautiful and unforgettable
As a wedding photographer I have seen many different ceremonies throughout the years but none quite like this one. Abegael made this couples wedding ceremony feel so unique and very special. I think everyone at the wedding including myself will remember this one forever. I love how spiritual the ceremony was and most of all it touched our hearts and souls. Beautiful and customized ceremony
We knew that picking a celebrant was an important choice and we are so happy we went with Abegael! She asked the best questions and created a ceremony that we will never forget. Abegael is so welcoming and makes the process very fun. She helped us choose rituals that related to our ancestry and helped us honor our late fathers in a ceremonial way. Thanks Abegael!

Amazing wedding celebrant
Having Abegael as our celebrant for our unique wedding was perfect! She worked efficiently and was great at constant communication to ensure our happiness with all of the different traditions we wanted to include on our special day. She showed up early, has great voice projection (we were outside), and organized our large group of guests (around 90) into a circle formation. She truly made our wedding day special and meaningful, we couldn't be happier with our golden rose wedding package.

Best ceremony ever!
Abegael was our wedding celebrant and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the start, we felt an authentic connection with her. She wrote our love story with such care and the unique rituals she suggested really made our ceremony stand out. In fact, many of our guests raved that it was the best ceremony they had ever seen and that it was their favourite part of the wedding.
