TPS Live Music is a wedding entertainment and musician located in Ottawa, Ontario. Tamiris Paes Souza is a talented violinist and singer who specializes in live performances, professional recording, and private music lessons. Services Offered:

Tamiris of TPS Live Music offers a range of services for clients to choose from. Whether your vision includes a violin solo; violin and voice solo; violin and guitar duo; violin and piano duo; or a string trio, Tamiris can bring your dream to life. She specializes in a wide range of genres, including classical, blues, pop, orchestra, strings, and folk. For a fully customized experience, she can also learn new songs for your setlist.

In-person Live Performance:

Violin solo: Price starts at *$CAD 200 per hour. *Price will vary depending on the type and quantity of songs, number of hours playing, number of hours of preparation for performance, location, peak hours (holidays), and additional requests. A minimum of 1 hour is charged for events with a duration of fewer than 60 minutes.

Violin and voice solo: Price starts at *$CAD 300 per hour. *Price will vary depending on the type and quantity of songs, number of hours playing, number of hours of preparation for performance, location, peak hours (holidays), and additional requests. A minimum of 1 hour is charged for events with a duration of fewer than 60 minutes.

Violin and piano: Price starts at *$CAD 400 per hour for the duo. *Price will vary depending on type and quantity of songs, number of hours playing, number of hours of preparation for performance, location, peak hours (holidays), and additional requests. A minimum of 1 hour is charged for events with a duration of fewer than 60 minutes.

Tamiris Paes Souza is a professional violinist and singer based in Ottawa, Canada. She holds a master's degree in violin performance from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's degree in violin performance from the University of the State of Sao Paulo. Her main violin teachers were Liliana Chiriac, Luiz Amato, and Yehonatan Berick.

She has attended several international music festivals, such as MDR MusikSommer, Young Euro Classic, Grachtenfestival, Berlioz Festival, 44th, and 45th Campos do Jordão Music Festival, Academia Teatro del Lago, Iberian Suite Festival, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Ilumina Festival. She also had violin lessons with Ida Kavafian at the Curtis Summerfest - Young Artist Program, during which she assumed the concertmaster position of the orchestra.

In addition to that, she has been a violinist at São Paulo State Youth Orchestra for six years, where she had opportunities to play with great soloists such as Marc Coppey, Jennifer Stumm, Ryu Goto, Washington Barella, and work with renowned conductors such as Frank Shipway, George Stelluto, Rolf Beck, Guillaume Bourgogne, and Vladimir Ashkenazy.

Furthermore, she can play a wide range of music styles, such as classical music (traditional and contemporary), Brazilian jazz (Bossa Nova), Brazilian folk (MPB, choro, samba, forro, Brazilian tango), as well as a variety of world music in the style of traditional jazz, Irish fiddle, country, experimental rock, and pop music. She also plays her own compositions.

Abigail  Sanchez
Abigail Sanchez
Pianist

Abigail is a piano teacher living in Ottawa that leads engaging and personalized piano lessons for students of all ages and levels. Based in her home studio in Sandy Hill, Abigail enjoys teaching the proper bases of piano technique as well as music theory and repertoire. She is a member of the Suzuki Piano Association Ottawa- Gatineau, ORMTA Association and has special interest in teaching children from a very young age.

She is a certified Suzuki teacher and has prepared students for RCM examinations, festivals, masterclasses, and competitions. As a pianist, Abigail enjoys solo and collaborative performance. As a chamber musician she has performed at the Chamber Music Ensembles Showcase at the National Arts Centre, Quartetfest at the Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo and has participated in masterclasses with the St. Lawrence string quartet. As a student, she was the pianist for Vocal Repertoire Class and the Wind Ensemble of the University of Ottawa. She has been the Choir accompanist at Emmanuel United Church for the past five years and a pianist at Margarita Restaurant.

Sánchez Rojas holds a BMus in Piano Performance from The National Autonomous University of Mexico, where she studied with Mauricio Ramos and Edith Ruiz; and a MMus in Piano Performance from the University of Ottawa, where she studied with Leopoldo Erice and Andrew Tunis. During her studies she was awarded the Mitchell Sharp Commemorative Bursary and the Barbara Newbegin Award in Music from the Canadian Federation of University Women. Besides music, Abigail holds a BFA and enjoys painting and printmaking in her free time.

Matthew O'Halloran is a pianist from Brockville, Ontario studying jazz at the University of Toronto.
