DJ Barron S is an energetic DJ with an excellent reputation across North America. Barron is the first female DJ to perform regularly at NHL stadium games (Rogers Arena). She’s the personal DJ to the Vancouver Canucks and is in high demand!

Barron has also toured the U.S. & Canada, DJing for pop-superstar Rihanna on her highly successful Anti world Tour.

DJ Jai has quickly become one of the most sought-after DJs in The Lower Mainland! Her infectious, upbeat energy makes her a hit with her clients in different demographics! Born in South Africa, Jai was surrounded by musicians and entertainers in her family which influenced her greatly. She began producing and writing songs at 14. She now has over 400 songs written and 100 self-produced tracks in many genres. Jai is an accomplished vocalist and has performed for several Wedding Ceremonies and Cocktail engagements.

DJ Jai’s forte is an extensive knowledge of music in all genres and knowing how to read a crowd and play accordingly. She loves taking extra special care to create the perfect mix of music for GirlOnWax clients. DJ Jai has a true passion for music and DJing, and it shows!

DJ Sherry Freeze started her career as a DJ after graduating from The Rhythm Institute DJ School in 2005. For the last 13 years, Sherry has played hundreds of weddings and corporate events, plus countless other occasions that called for a great vibe.

Sherry’s versatility makes her one of the most popular DJ’s in BC. She has extensive knowledge of all styles of music, smart mixing skills and the most wonderful bubbly stage presence. Sherry even caught the attention of Bon Jovi’s manager when she was DJing one night and was asked to DJ his personal VIP party after the concert the next day.

Some of her other favourite events include being part of Red Room’s Lady Buggin’ Club Series, having her own night called “Yeah! Yeah! Saturday” at Oasis for three years, DJing the rooftop on Davie Street for Pride 2011 and the opening ceremony After Party for the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010.

Sherry also has a great experience on the microphone as an MC, as she has been the dynamic host of “Name That Tune” in various venues in Vancouver for the past decade. Her ability to comedically work a room and create a fun atmosphere is the reason for this show’s long-running success.

Kate has held DJ residencies in the Maldives, at the Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa, Zafferano in Singapore, Empire Bar in Perth, and Vancouver’s Republic Nightclub. Kate has also toured in Indonesia and Australia and DJ’ed at Bali’s top club Skybar.

She’s rocked dance-floors in forests, beaches and mountaintops across the globe for celebrities, elite brands, private events, pool parties and luxury residences. Weddings and Corporate Events are her forte, as Kate is fantastic at putting together the perfect playlist suited to each group. She works closely with clients to go over music preferences, in-depth.

His professional DJ career was launched in 2013 when he joined the Alberta based Revolution Entertainment, later taking over as shop manager. Chris co-founded the company Safezone Entertainment in 2016, which recently spearheaded the Neon Lights DJ programs at the Flying Squirrel Trampoline Parks across Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec through the end of 2018. With over 400+ successful weddings and events under his belt, ranging from multi-day conferences, sporting events, parades, and everything in between, he continues to seek out unique, high-quality musical opportunities.

Caley H started playing the Sax in her teens, after receiving the highest honours in Royal Conservatory Grade 9 piano. She received a scholarship to study music & composition at the prestigious Humber College in Toronto, Ontario where she studied with world-renowned Saxophone Recording Artist Pat Labarbera. During her four-year stint, Caley played and recorded with many famous artists and musicians that continue to make headlines today.

She’s spent over 20 years performing for Weddings, Holiday Parties, Corporate Events, Nightclubs, Stadiums, Galas & Private Parties in The Lower Mainland. Caley has an incredible magnetism when she performs live with DJs and Percussionists!

Karla is jazz and classically trained, composes music and teaches music to children as a side project. Music is her life! Karla Sax loves to accompany DJs during cocktail/lounge sets to enhance the atmosphere, and enjoys rockin’ it with the GOW DJ’s and Percussionists on a packed dancefloor!

He’s Vancouver’s busiest Djembe player! His forte is performing with his GirlOnWax Trio: DJ + Sax & Percussion. Pher is also the successful owner of Sound-House Studios, Vancouver’s leading musician hub.

Pher performs his Percussion Instruments The Djembe &/or Congas to any and all genres like Top 40, House, Hip Hop, Funk, Reggae, Jazz, Lounge & Retro, whatever the event, wedding or cocktail engagement calls for.
