Dialed-In DJs is a Toronto-based mobile DJ company founded by two women with vast and impeccable taste in music and over 30 years of combined experience as DJs and event producers. We provide a fresh alternative to the standard "wedding DJ" sound by specializing in non-cheesy music for weddings, corporate, and cultural events. DID maintains deep ties with the LGBTQ community both as DJs for queer events and as allies committed to an equitable world for everyone.

Experience

DID DJs Lucie and Maren have been DJing for over twenty years and have a vast knowledge of all musical genres, including indie, electronic, jazz, pop, rock, hip-hop, oldies, R&B/soul, and top 40. Strictly against cheesy tactics, they are particularly passionate about indie music. DID are fully insured, CONNECT licensed, and proud members of the Canadian Professional DJ Association.

Services offered

Our standard service includes either Lucie or Maren as your DJ, who can come equipped with a pro-sound system suitable for up to 300 guests, including a wireless microphone and stand, and 10 hours of service (8 hours of music playing + 2 hours set-up/tear-down), including MC duties if needed.

How they work

Because we are a boutique DJ service for discerning music lovers, a key aspect of our service is an in-person music consultation scheduled approximately two months before your wedding date. We'll go through their music questionnaire with you and your partner in person to find out exactly what you both want, and we'll also go over your wedding schedule in terms of what speeches may be taking place, special dances, etc.

In addition to the personal music consultation, we work with you via email and/or telephone, utilizing a Google Doc, on an ongoing basis, so that you have lots of time to plan your music, and so that you can change your mind as much as you want, even right up to your wedding date.
