Mike Oulton is a trained entertainer in various art forms and has created a unique wedding program suitable for all ages - families, adults and over the top extravaganzas!

The music genres I play include Country, Hip hop, Mainstream Electronic, Jazz, Oldies, Pop, Soul/R&B, Rock, International and Top 40 music.

ACDJ is a unique entertinment company. I started out as a DJ, then started to MC and realized that the MC is the most important part of your event. It's easy to ask a cousin to MC your wedding, or get the sales guy to lead the event -- but why do that when you have a pro who has done over 1000 events and focuses on laughter, interaction and engaging the room.

People need to be united. Thats the job of the MC. Not to entertain only, but to bring the room together. If you ask your "MC" how he's going to do that, they almost always answer "I don't know".

The secret is to meet everyone, read the room then become the room... sounds weird i know... but my secret is to put in time to learn the room... who are you and who are your guests. Once i find out what makes everyone tick, i approach the rest of the evening with a pretty detailed plan.

I come to all events with 10 ideas and interactions, but only use what i figure out will work. The music part is the easy part. What people don't realize it that your guests will be in their seast for about 75% of the time. We need to make them feel welcome and not bore them to death.
