Operating out of East Vancouver, BC, Whiskey Six BBQ bases their cuisine style on the farm/field to table philosophy, created by owner and operator Marc D. Wicks and Chef Josh McWilliams. Thus, they are supportive of local farmers and suppliers and they make sure that they use sustainable products in every dish.
They are more than catering but offer full event services, delivery, set up and clean up. They believe that the catering business is about passion about not just satisfying the hunger of carnivores but vegetarians and vegans as well. They can also accommodate dietary restrictions such as gluten, lactose and nut free, kosher, no pork and organic.
Whiskey Six Catering & Events offers their unique version of southern and southwestern style BBQ which challenges the idea of what can be produced on a grill and smoker. They call it Westcoast BBQ. They strive to create heavenly and succulent in-house smoked, slow braised and cured BBQ take out. Their menu offerings consist of meats smoked in-house, wild game, barbeque sandwiches and wraps as well as soups and stews. Everything that leaves their kitchens is made from scratch with their very own spice rubs, marinades and sauces. They also offer upscale hors d' oeuvres and custom menus.
They create cocktails are also sure to tantalize and excite the taste buds of family and friends who can choose from a variety of brown liquor from all around the world. Local craft beer, whiskeys from all over and wines from the Pacific northwest are available as well.
