When we were planning our wedding, we were looking for a Piaggio Tap Truck to supplement our bar for cocktail hour and at first were so excited to be working with Sip Social! They had been responsive and easy to work with. Unfortunately this did not remain the case. On a Saturday afternoon, 6 days out from the wedding. We got a 4 sentence email stating that they would no longer be able to provide services due to "unforseen issues with their truck" and wished us the best in our wedding. This was completely shocking to us and we were totally blindsided. We are understanding that the tap truck may run into difficulties, but had booked them under the impression that they are a large conglomerate and in the event that there was an issue, they would do their due diligence to find a replacement within their network of 70 franchises and this was not the case. We were especially disappointed that according to their email, they had only reached out to one of the seventy franchises to assist and were unsuccessful.

Our bad experience did not stop there. When we followed up with customer service to see if there was any solution or to see if we could be refunded, we did not hear back from anyone for almost 2 days. This now put us 4 days out from our wedding. I believe that they use a third party customer service network as they were not able to assist outside of leaving a message to the office. Again, we are understanding that we were calling outside of business hours and are understanding that the Sip Social team would not be available on weekends, but we got the email cancelling on a Saturday and due to the nature of the situation we were disappointed that we did not have anyone to follow up with.

It was only after countless calls to the Sip Social Team did they make any real attempt to find a replacement (unsuccessfully). While they did refund us, this left us in a difficult position and added significant unnecessary stress in the week leading up to our wedding day. On my final call with a member of the Sip Social team, he let me know that the Piaggio Tap Trucks are an italian brand of truck and therefore when they break, they need to import a part from Italy in order to fix. BEWARE when booking this company because there is only one truck and if it breaks there is no backup plan and an inadequate customer service system further added to the challenge. I do not recommend this company, they are not reliable or communicative.

Couldn't have gone better, they were on time, friendly, helped keep our guest from getting too rambunctious. 10/10

My wife is originally from Italy and the second we saw the truck at a friend's event out of town, we knew she had to have it, the service was perfect and her family had lots of stories to tell about the little trucks back in their homes towns. It was worth it just for the conversation-starting alone.

My husband pushed hard for this cart at our wedding and I'm genuinely so pleased that I caved, all of our guests thought it was such a unique addition, I thought it would stand out against our decor, but their team decorated it perfectly in that it stood out and blended in all at the same time. Anyway....10/10 recommend

If you're in search of a unique, showstopping bartending experience, the Sip bar cart is it! Working with them was an absolute pleasure. Communication was clear and consistent leading up to our wedding, drinks were personalized to meet my wife's overall theme, and the bartenders were nothing short of AMAZING. I highly recommend Sip for your next event. Also, a shout out to Rachel- my mother-in-law has an allergy and Rachel went out of her way to keep reminding her throughout the night what she could and couldn't have. The fact that she was able to remember our guest's preferences really made all the difference.

Amazing service, very professional, exceptional drinks, very nice layout and decor and overall fantastic experience! This is a must have for your parties (I hired them for my wife’s surprise birthday party as well as our wedding).

I'm not overly big on writing reviews, but for the few vendors that made our wedding spectacular, I will! Darren and Stacy were terrific! They felt like part of our family the way they interacted with our guests. I think that the Sip truck received more attention than me, the bride! Thank you for everything!
