The Venue did all the work, we just showed up!

An absolute amazing team! Not only was the venue breathtaking, it was also extremely customizable and flexible, great for any budget. They also have a fully licensed bar and can provide catering. We had platters and canape service that were simply divine! To top it all off, there are many entertainment options. We had giant Jenga set up, as well as a caricature artist! Will absolutely keep this venue in mind for any other large future gatherings. We were a wedding of 45 people and had so much extra space, it was quite nice actually.

gorgeous venue

When we first went to check out this venue, we were blown away with how cool the place looked. We barely had to decorate at all since it's got a very 1920's vibe. Allison and Cassy were extremely helpful with everything, and we really appreciated how " a la carte" the entire service was. We could bring our own booze for a low cost, they had catering but were open to outside catering. we could bring in our own decorations or use theirs. all our guests told us how much they liked the venue. the only thing was there are two small stairs leading up to the tables and one of my aunts took a spill, so be careful if you have mobility challenged guests!

Dissapointing

Our first meetings went well. We asked a lot of questions and felt like it was a good fit for us. Unfortunately, even after multiple planning meetings and a very detailed agenda was drafted and agreed to, our wedding was riddled with issues. I spent a lot of my wedding problem solving and trying to track down someone to fix something. We went with their caterer and the food was disappointing. The bar service was extremely slow, the set-up was mostly done by family who had to step in as they were running behind, nothing was packed up after even though we paid for tear-down service. That’s just the start. I didn’t contact them to express my dissatisfaction and request a bit of a refund for services I paid for but didn’t receive. They sent me about $200 and I never heard back again.

Venue was amazing

The staff at the Metro are really great and accommodating, our event coordinator Heather was very flexible and responded to all our needs. She set everything up perfectly including the decor, she was there throughout the event and made sure everything ran smoothly. We did our wedding of 40 people in the smaller room, the glam lounge. It was very roomy and beautiful with their new paint for the walls. My only complaint is sometimes they take a while to get back through email or phone call, but it's understandable since they are a busy venue. As well our DJ was around an hour late so we had to push our ceremony back a bit. Otherwise DJ was great, we used their inhouse. Their inhouse food was also delicious, we loved the lasagna and international cheese board.

Very unique venue, lounge-like atmosphere. We wanted something unique and different, and definitely got it. Young & friendly team was helpful. The caterers they use (Sugar Mountain) are the best wedding buffet food I have EVER had (seasoned wedding-goer, 25+ under my belt). Packages were flexible to suit your needs. Sometimes it took longer to get responses, but not often. The wedding planner that comes with your package does not do as much on the actual day of other than general clean-up like the rest of the staff, so be prepared for that, but they do help get everything organized leading up to it. One complaint guests had is that they forgot to put out the tea & coffee which came with our plan, so that was unfortunate. However, they did give is an extra free hour as part of our setup time, so that was considerate. The photobooth company they use (Dang Good Booths) were also pretty great! Overall, really good value and I would recommend.

We had our wedding reception here and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. We had a retro themed reception 20's-40's and the vintage lounge environment fit perfectly. The staff were great and it went off without a hitch!
