Lionhead simply includes them. We were constantly comparing packages while venue hunting, and this was one of the first places where we felt like we weren't going to be nickel-and-dimed for every little detail.

We also opted for elevated velvet linens and taupe napkins through their décor company, and we were really happy with the selection of décor options available. Something that really stood out to us was how the coordinators handled an issue with the décor company. The décor company had misquoted the venue and ended up charging them more for our linens than what we had originally been quoted. Instead of passing that additional cost onto us, the venue absorbed the difference. We really appreciated this because, even though the mistake wasn't theirs, they honoured the price they had given us. That level of integrity and customer service meant so much to us.

The first person you will meet is Kelly, and she is AMAZING to work with. She was always so prompt with her emails and made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout the planning process. We were definitely the type of couple who triple-checked everything, and Kelly was always so patient with us. She would update our contract whenever we needed changes and never made us feel like we were being difficult.

Then you'll meet Sue, the Food & Beverage Manager, who also helps with the wedding day. She is SO lovely and was such a pleasure to work with. She gave us practical advice about the flow of the day and helped us make decisions that actually made sense logistically. We really appreciated having someone who wasn't just telling us what we wanted to hear, but was genuinely helping us create the best possible experience.

We also want to be VERY honest about the food because we actually had some concerns after our tasting. At the tasting, we found that the meat wasn't as seasoned as we expected and the chicken was a little dry, so we were admittedly nervous about how the food would turn out on the wedding day.

Fast forward to our wedding day: THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.

For our main course, we were able to choose two proteins, and BOTH were incredibly well-seasoned and delicious. We also requested pasta as the vegetarian option, and it was absolutely delicious. We had incredibly picky guests who are notoriously difficult to please, and we had nothing but amazing feedback about the food from everyone.

The staff also went above and beyond with dietary needs. We had a guest who hadn't informed us ahead of time about an allergy to certain raw vegetables. When she mentioned it to the servers, they were so kind and immediately offered to have the kitchen prepare a salad for her on the spot. She was so impressed by how accommodating they were!

The cocktail hour food was another thing that completely exceeded our expectations. The venue really undersold it when they advertised the cheese selection because we had NO IDEA they were going to bring out a WHOLE PARMESAN CHEESE WHEEL! The shrimp hors d'oeuvres were also a huge hit and people couldn't stop talking about them.

And the bar was FULLY stocked. It was honestly much better than what we've seen at many convention centres. We had Aperol Spritzes and espresso martinis all night, along with a great selection of beer (including lots of local breweries), wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments.

Overall, we had the wedding day of our dreams, and Kelly and Sue made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. After dealing with other venues that had so many hidden fees and were much less responsive, the transparency, value, and care we received here really stood out.

If you're considering this venue, PLEASE give it a look. The website honestly does not do this place justice. We took a chance on a venue with no reviews, and we are SO glad that we did. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding!
