Nestled on the shores of the Bay of Quinte in Carrying Place, Ontario, Carriage Lane Elopements is a romantic, waterfront venue specializing in intimate, all-inclusive wedding experiences. We curate meaningful elopements for couples only, as well as "smallish" weddings for up to 12 guests—designed for those who want to focus on what matters most: love, connection, and the joy of being married.
Our stress-free packages include everything needed for a beautiful, relaxed celebration, with thoughtful touches that reflect each couple’s unique style. Whether you're planning a private vow exchange at sunrise or a golden hour ceremony at sunset, every wedding is customized and completely taken care of.

Located on a private property overlooking the bay, we offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options in every season. The Wedding Studio provides a cozy indoor space year-round overlooking the water, complemented by a woodland patio, a charming stone waterfront terrace, and landscaped pathways for picture-perfect moments.

Our "Weddings To Go" option is perfect for a quick and meaningful elopement, and includes the essentials: officiant, witnesses, sparkling sips, a sweetheart cake, THE COUNTY candle, charcuterie, polaroid-style pics, and keepsake coasters in your wedding basket. A professional photographer and witnesses can be added as an option.

Beautiful wedding with wonderful and super friendly staff!
Carriage Lane Elopements, and Lisa and Craig are so wonderful to work with and are unbelievably helpful. They are very quick to respond to all messages, very friendly, and they take care and pride in their work organizing your special day. It went smoothly and we had the most beautiful wedding day - beyond our wildest dreams! 1000% recommend. They will ease your nerves and make sure planning goes smoothly, answering all your questions along the way. We can't thank them enough :)

Truly Magical from Start to Finish
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Carriage Lane Elopements in Prince Edward County! From the very beginning, Lisa was incredibly warm, responsive, and accommodating. She made us feel welcomed and supported every step of the way, and the whole planning process was smooth and stress-free.
Craig, Lisa’s husband and our officiant, was equally amazing—his calming presence and heartfelt delivery helped us feel relaxed and truly present during the ceremony.
The outdoor setup was breathtaking—the décor was more than we ever hoped for, beautifully arranged with so much care and attention to detail. It created the perfect, romantic atmosphere for our special day.
Not only did they take incredible care of us, but they also made our guest feel genuinely welcomed and included. Their kindness and hospitality meant so much to all of us.

Without a doubt the best venue
Quinn and I got married on Sept 7, 2024. I cannot speak highly enough about Craig and Lisa, and the rest of the team. They were always so quick to respond to many questions or ideas I had. They were able to accommodating anything we may have needed and always had our best interests at heart. They took the time to get know us as a couple so the decor and flowers they had matched then image we had.
I cannot imagine having our intimate wedding anywhere else. It was authentic to us from start to finish. Thank you for everything and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

A perfect day in the perfect place
We are still floating from our incredible wedding weekend with Carriage Lane at Lake on the Mountain! We wanted to get married without breaking the bank and without having to stress about making decisions: Mission accomplished! Carriage Lane provides an incredible package that somehow manages to include the incredible venue, photography, flowers, decor (which includes fresh flowers and signage), delicious snacks and treats, lawn games and the outstanding team themselves! Lisa was so prompt and always available to answer any questions we had leading up to the day — especially those last minute ones that just keep popping up! And Craig was an outstanding officiant — he incorporated my extremely last minute requests to incorporate some cultural elements into the day and helped make the day so, so special. They both radiate such wonderful energy, being in their presence felt like such a great way to start off our marriage. Even when one of our guests' delayed arrival pushed back our ceremony, they kept calm and helped pivot to keep our guests comfortable and us relaxed as we waited. It was a dream of a day and if you are looking for an intimate, easy, and personalized wedding ceremony in the county we cannot recommend Carriage Lane highly enough -- you won't be disappointed!
Pro-tip: Order the hand pies/tarts as part of your "something sweet" package — we provided 3 meals for our guests over the weekend outside of the mini-reception in the boathouse at Lake on the Mountain, and overwhelmingly people said the raspberry tarts were their favourite thing they ate all weekend!

A magical and unforgettable wedding day!
Lisa and Craig were absolutely wonderful to work with and our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect despite the unpredictable weather. Originally, the ceremony was to be held outdoors by the lake but the heavy rainfall and strong winds made it difficult (the forecast called for thunderstorms!). The Carriage Lane team was able to pivot at the last minute and they went above and beyond to convert the Lake on the Mountain boathouse into a magical space for the ceremony.
Lisa’s communication was top notch and she made everything stress-free. We had a lot of personalized elements for our wedding and Lisa was able to accommodate all of them. Craig had a beautiful ceremony. We could feel the warmth and kindness in his words which brought tears to our eyes.

Beyond Perfect!!
It's hard to put into words. How amazing Craig and Lisa truly are. We booked without even having even seen the venue, besides in pictures and it was beyond expectations. As someone who has anxiety and is a planner I can't even begin to explain how incredible these 2 were at taking care of everything and answering questions and reassuring us. Our day was just perfect. All our guests were blown away at how nice and sweet they both were. They truly made our wedding perfect, they walked us through the whole ceremony and really the whole day. I couldn't imagine a wedding as beautiful and stress free.

The wedding we never knew we wanted!
Lisa, Craig and the rest of the Carriage Lane Elopements team went above and beyond to create the most beautiful, magical and stress free wedding day for my husband and I. Leading up to the big day, they were always willing and prompt to communicate with us and answer any questions we had. They truly made the lead up to the wedding easy and stress free. We had never seen Lake on the Mountain before the wedding, so we put all of our trust in Lisa and Craig - they did not disappoint! Every detail from the decor, food, flowers, and personal touches were beyond anything we could have imagined. Craig’s ceremony was thoughtful, fun, and easy going. All of our guests commented that it was the best ceremony they had ever been to, and we absolutely agree. Together, Lisa and Craig created the perfect day for us. If we could go back in time and re-do the day we wouldn’t change a thing!
