Carriage Lane Elopements is a park wedding venue located in Carrying Place, Ontario. We specialize in intimate, personal, and romantic weddings. All of our packages are all-inclusive, stress-free, and uniquely tailored to our couples. We focus on intimate ceremonies and mini receptions. Our weddings are all about the short and sweet carefree experience. Weddings that allow couples to focus on each other and their commitment to each other. Ceremonies can be scheduled from sunrise to sunset with receptions ending by 9 pm.
Facilities and Capacity
Carriage Lane Elopements offers two location choices depending on size and season. "Smallish weddings" in The Wedding Studio overlooking the shores of the Bay of Quinte in The Carrying Place are available year-round. Larger gatherings are located by the historic Lake on the Mountain in Picton between May and October. The studio can host between two and 10 guests year-round.
Services Offered
Wedding services with Carriage Lane Elopements come in a range of packages. These packages all include the services of a licensed officiant and florals. "An Intimate Affair" also includes wedding ceremony setup, social area setup, use of the property for photography and prep, personalized ceremony music, and background playlist. This package also includes the services of a professional photographer, celebratory sips served, sweet treats, a mini-wedding cake, and charcuterie. Elopements and weddings to go packages include the services of two legal witnesses, a complimentary wedding basket, a scented candle, and a bottle of local sparkling with two glasses. This package also covers a sweetheart cake, charcuterie, and polaroid insta quick pics, with the option of a professional photographer.

A magical and unforgettable wedding day!
Lisa’s communication was top notch and she made everything stress-free. We had a lot of personalized elements for our wedding and Lisa was able to accommodate all of them. Craig had a beautiful ceremony. We could feel the warmth and kindness in his words which brought tears to our eyes.
Getting married in the boathouse surrounded by our closest family and friends, with the waves crashing beneath us, made for an even more memorable experience. The set up of the boathouse was beautiful, from the florals to the arbour, to the cloth drapes. The charcuterie and dessert platters were delicious and our guests loved them. To the Carriage Lane team and all partnered vendors, thank you so much for making our wedding day magical and truly unforgettable!

Pro-tip: Order the hand pies/tarts as part of your "something sweet" package — we provided 3 meals for our guests over the weekend outside of the mini-reception in the boathouse at Lake on the Mountain, and overwhelmingly people said the raspberry tarts were their favourite thing they ate all weekend!

Becoming an officiant has been a completely rewarding experience. I am grateful for all of the weddings that I have been a part of and the many venues and industry professionals that I have been lucky enough to work with. Collaborating with my wife Lisa and performing a ceremony at Carriage Lane, my own backyard, is really just icing on the cake….wedding cake of course!
As a young entrepreneur developing the media profiles for two related wedding businesses but also allowing them to each have their own unique branding and images has been completely challenging, but entirely fun. I love the pace, the artistic opportunities and the dynamic flow of working with both Carriage Lane and Craig Logan Officiating.
I love what I do, I do what I love. Lucky for me running Carriage Lane fits perfectly with those ideals. As a full-time elementary school teacher my days can be packed full, but honestly meeting with couples and seeing their excitement when they find exactly what they want at our location makes the busiest days completely worth it.
