We had the most incredible wedding day and overall experience at Riverest and with the owner, Natalie. Natalie is one of the most genuine and kind people you will meet - she purchased Riverest last year and this was her first full wedding season with the venue, although she has been a wedding coordinator for many years. The venue is gorgeous, and Natalie and her team are so accommodating to make it exactly what you are dreaming of. We found communication was great leading up to the wedding and Natalie was easy to get ahold of. The value for cost at Riverest is outstanding - our wedding package was much more affordable than quotes we received from venues in Ottawa, and it included the DJs, the officiant, guest shuttles, fireworks, furniture and many decor items, catering, wait staff, set-up and tear down, coordination, and for a small cost we also rented 5 bedrooms right at the venue for 2 nights. We had the venue to ourselves from Friday to Sunday. Now for the food - the chef, Dennis, is incredible. We were served the largest portions I have ever seen for a wedding, and the food was just amazing all around. Service was organized and fast, and they handled many many guest allergies with ease. The bartender was also wonderful and we got tons of compliments on his service and drinks! Overall, an absolutely beautiful day and a really lovely experience! Everything went off absolutely flawlessly. The team here was always readily available and easy to communicate with. Very flexible for use of alternate vendors/decor. Their chef prepares the best meals Ive ever had at a wedding - you are amazing Dennis. I really cant say enough kind words about this venue and team.
