If you are looking for a unique wedding venue, then welcome to the The Rope Factory Event Hall. An event hall like no other, this venue is a carefully restored factory known as Brant Cordage, which was at its time one of the largest manufacturer of twine in the British Empire. The Rope Factory Event Hall successfully showcases a lot of character and blends history with modern amenities to create a perfect backdrop for celebrating a great event.
Facilities and capacity
The Rope Factory covers 5,000 sq. ft., and has a unique ambience, offering a perfect departure from the traditional and familiar event spaces. With a blank canvas at your disposal, you can have the wedding of your dreams at our space. The maximum seated capacity of the hall is 150 with tables and chairs. Ourspace can be adjusted to several different layouts. A mobile stage is also part of the venue, as well as a sound system and lights.
What sets us apart from other venues?
Our full service kitchen allows you to bring in ANY caterer of your choice. When you caterer of choice sees our kitchen -- they will LOVE it. Also, our Open Bar package is much less restricvive from traditional open bar packages - we don't limit what alcohol is being served and allow you to customize the bar. We purposly don't sign exclusivity deals with vendors, which allows us the freedom to serve drinks you prefer.
We also have a bridal suite located directly across from the venue avaiable to you. You can get ready on-site and have a place to sneak away when you just need a few minutes to breathe.

Beautiful space and incredibly helpful!
The venue itself is absolutely stunning! Our guests, family and ourselves could not get enough of how beautiful the alley and the inside was!
Jamie, Erin and Chris were so accommodating and helpful. They made wonderful recommendations and made suggestions for things I never thought of. They made my vision come true and provided last minute changes without question. They made me feel so comfortable and happy throughout the whole planning process. I was told for months that there are hiccups to every wedding, but not ours! Thank you to Jamie and Chris for making sure everything we off without any problems! It was truly a perfect day!
The bartenders were so lovely and helpful!! Even after the wedding, we had family mention how wonderful those ladies were!
