Valley Croft is the only venue of its kind in the Simcoe County Region, offering a charming rustic barn setting, lovingly restored to retain its authentic character. Featuring indoor and outdoor celebration space, on-site overnight guest accommodations and a second dressing room all within the private and exclusive event space.
The staff at Valley Croft will ensure that every wedding is as unique as the “nearly-wed” couple.
Personal service and attention to detail, while embracing a relaxed and fun atmosphere, are the hallmarks of each Valley Croft wedding.

Facilities and capacity
Valley Croft is a private and intimate venue, situated on nine acres. At the heart of the venue is our authentically restored 1893 barn; surrounded by natural gardens, lawns, an ornamental fish pond, trails and a large campfire area.
The stunning surroundings of the venue offer excellent opportunities for wedding photography.
From an intimate elopement ceremony to an elegant country wedding for up to 150, Valley Croft is the place to be!

Combining beautiful ambience with excellent service to ensure a memorable and unique wedding celebration, this family run business excels in offering personalized service, and the flexibility to bring your dream to reality.
Services include wedding day co ordination by our WPIC certified wedding planner.
Full service planning services are also available, to help with all aspects of planning from decor to dining.
Valley Croft is pleased to offer several preferred local caterers, selected for their amazing food and exceptional customer service. Your choice of additional vendors and services are welcome, for you to truly customize your dream wedding.
We are located about 1.5 hours north of Toronto, easily accessible from Hwy 400, Hwy 11 and Hwy 12; about 20 mins from Barrie and Orillia.

Absolutely loved our wedding venue!!! if you are looking into having a barn wedding would definitely recommend. I loved having the cottage at the venue to get ready in with all the bridesmaids, I was able to walk around the morning of and watch everything come together. Nothing but great things to say about this venue, all our guests loved it.

A dream come true
From the moment we met Kate we knew Valley Croft was something special. The barn without any decor is so incredibly beautiful with all the rustic wood and twinkly lights and the pub like bar space was so fun. We were in love with the space immediately. The on site cottage was the perfect place for my bridesmaids and I to stay and get ready the day of and for my groom and I to spend the night. Kate is an absolutely incredible woman. Her and her team made sure every single detail was executed perfectly and we were getting exactly what we wanted. From the beginning you could tell that they truly care for the couples and just want everyone to have a great, stress free time. Kate had everything organized and planned so that I didn’t have to worry about anything and she was always an email or text away when I needed anything. Even when we had to change plans at the last minute because of rain she made sure each and every moment was perfect. There is nowhere else I could’ve imagined getting married. We cannot thank her and her team enough.

The Perfect Spot
We were looking for a reception venue that would allow our guests and us to have fun and celebrate our day. Not only did we get that, but the beauty of the property (the trails, trees, on-site cottage, and 1876 barn) and the amazing décor (chandeliers in the woods, vintage couches and trunks as coffee tables, and bonfire) made for an unforgettable night for everyone. All of our 80 guests raved about the atmosphere. Kate (venue owner) was amazing throughout the entire planning process. She responded quickly to any questions we had and when we needed suggestions for the day of, she did not disappoint! The day would not have been as smooth as it was without her. It was truly stress free for the two of us.

Perfect country wedding!
Such a beautiful venue! The lower barn is perfect for any reception (the layout is like a pub) and having the cottage to stay at on the property is a bonus. Kate was very accommodating and flexible in the midst of a pandemic and made sure we still had our perfect day! The bartenders were so fun and made sure everyone had a good time. The price is very reasonable and I guarantee you will love it!

Venue & ceremony
We were happy with the venue appearance and over all look of the place was beautiful. But, the service and the equipment/cottage we received were not in good condition for a wedding. We were not provided with any shower condiments and the barn sound system was so low we couldn't hear anyone. It was unacceptable and caused us issues throughout the dinner. The owner did not keep proper track of payments we gave her, and now we overpaid, but we havent received a refund of that money back yet. We also got charged for our security deposit for her having to ask a few guests to smoke in the smoking area and claiming they broke a chair and table (which I doubt my guests did)
I loved the location but for the trouble we went through and the money we spent it is not worth it. We also had problems with the heaters in the barn, and the owner was not very helpful with it. My husband had to keep leaving his dinner to fix it.

We appreciate your feedback, and will take your notes into consideration as we move forward into our next season.
Regarding the security deposit, our policy is very clear and smoking anywhere near the barn does forfeit the deposit. The risk to our wooden century barn is just too great. We always try to work with guests and their co ordinator (if one is on hand) to ensure that guests follow the policy and there is no need to charge the deposit.

***stunning venue ***
This venue is absolutely amazing!! Kate the owner of this superb venue is equally fantastic. Communication with Kate was incredible. The whole lead up tot he wedding was made extremely easy and stress free as Kate was fantastic at getting back to me and answered all my questions in such detail. I was a very nervous bride a week before my wedding and she truly calmed my nerves. The day of the wedding, Kate was fantastic. She ran around helping clean up and making the whole day run smoothly. She was even there when we had a scare and thought our officiant wasn't going to make it. Kate stopped everything to call all the vendors she knew to help us out. She was absolutely amazing on the day, and didn't bother myself or the Groom once with questions. Kate truly put so much into making sure our day run perfect no matter all the stress and we will forever be so grateful for her hard work. I would highly recommend this venue and Kate to every bride looking for the most perfect rustic barn :)

Amazing venue and staff!
We hosted a Sunday wedding at Valley Croft last July. It was amazing. I will admit, I was a little uncertain at first about a Sunday wedding. But it worked out perfectly. The staff were so helpful in setting things up and answering all our last minute emails and questions. The grounds were so pretty and we loved the cozy pub feel of lower level for dancing. Highly recommend this option for couples looking to have a wonderful day, and not breaking the bank!

July 7 wedding - wonderful!!!! Best Day Ever!!
We were married at Valley Croft on July 7th. We actually found the venue through WeddingWire. We researched a TON of venues, and found Valley Croft offered the flexibility we really wanted. The owners were awesome to work with, and really helped out a lot with recommendations and suggestions. All my girls loved the cottage. I can't wait to see our pictures from the woodland. Highly recommended!
