The Big Red Barn is a beautiful historic wedding venue in Lacombe, Alberta. Initially built in 1903 at the Lacombe Research Station, the barn was used to house horses before it was scheduled to be destroyed in 1995. However, it was purchased and moved onto the owners personal property before being renamed The Big Red Barn. By 1997, the barn was wholly restored and ready to host wedding celebrations. The Big Red Barn has been hosting weddings ever since.

Facilities and Capacity

The rustic charm of The Big Red Barn creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere that will delight and excite couples and guests alike. The large interior is ideal for both a ceremony and reception, with space for up to 200 people. The high ceilings are held up with gorgeous wooden beams as the sun shines through the windows, illuminating the venue with natural light.
