We used the Rimbey Riverside Retreat Venue for our annual women’s retreat in August. Everything about our experience with them exceeded our expectations. The venue is set up so well and it was amazing to have the cabin and camping options. Having full bathrooms spread around the property was such a perk! Our attendees loved everything about the property and so did we. It was so easy to work with the management team and we 100% recommend this venue. It would be absolutely perfect for any wedding!

We recently got married at this venue at the end of October. The venue is great value for the weekend package. We had family camp in the rv space, two sweet little cabins and a beautiful bridal cabin. Duncan was extremely accommodating and responsive to all of our needs and last-minute requests. The venue and grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. It fulfilled and exceeded all of our expectations and we got nothing but compliments on our venue choice all night!

Stunny venue with everything you need! Our guest throughly enjoyed the camping and cabins and we got so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was and how awesome the bartending was! We looked that it was included with the venue as well as all the decor options they have to offer.

Absolutely magical. Our wedding at Rimbey Riverside Retreat was everything we dreamed of and more. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views, long golden grasses, and sunsets that made for the most beautiful photos. From the pond to the wide-open fields, every part of the venue offers a serene, natural backdrop that feels truly special.

One of the biggest advantages was the sheer size of the property. We had family from all over the country, and being able to have so many guests stay onsite without the cost of hotels made the weekend feel like a full family reunion. Everyone had space to relax, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. The kids were in heaven running around, tossing frisbees, and playing lawn games. If you have little ones attending, definitely bring outdoor games; there’s more than enough room for them to roam and enjoy.

The main reception hall is massive and perfectly designed. The large garage doors let in the sunshine and a warm breeze during the day, creating an open-air feel while still offering protection from weather. The venue comes equipped with a huge professional-grade speaker, Bluetooth connection, and mic, which was great for setup and downtime even though we had a DJ for the big event. It’s a great option if you don’t want to hire someone or just need something powerful on standby.

A huge cost-saver for us was the ability to bring our own alcohol. Compared to restaurants or venues with full-price bar service, this alone saved us thousands. Pair that with a team of experienced, friendly bartenders, and we had an incredible party at a fraction of the cost.

The cabins are rustic yet comfortable. Guests loved staying in them, and while the stairs are a bit steep for older folks, the comfort and setting more than made up for it. The bathrooms across the property are pristine… you’d never guess you were at what some might call a “camping” venue. Everything was clean, modern, and well-kept. The RV campers in our group were also thrilled with the hookups and appreciated how easy it was to have drop-off and pickup directly at the resort.

The Corral made for a perfect afterparty hangout, and the flow of the weekend was so much smoother thanks to the owners allowing us to arrive early to set up. That extra time meant we weren’t scrambling. We got to enjoy the entire weekend and soak in the experience without pressure.

Judy and Duncan, along with their crew, were exceptional to work with. Communication was easy, they were responsive to every question, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. It’s rare to find that level of trust and professionalism, especially in the wedding world where things can so often go sideways.

As far as improvements, the only minor suggestion we’d offer is that it would be helpful if the cabins and bar had running sinks someday. That said, with fully equipped bathrooms and showers throughout the property, it wasn’t a problem at all.

Overall, the value at Rimbey Riverside Retreat is unbeatable. You’re not just booking a venue. You’re getting a full weekend to connect with the people you love. There’s no rush, no tight schedule, no whirlwind of single-day logistics. It’s a peaceful, spacious, and authentic place to celebrate. Several guests told us it was the nicest wedding they had ever attended, and we believe them.

We can’t recommend it enough. If you want a relaxed, scenic, and unforgettable weekend run by good people who care about your day, this is the place.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and they put a lot of work into all the buildings on site. They were great to work with and were very accommodating. They provided a lot of the decor and set up and took down everything we picked out. The cabins on-site were super great to have and were a great place for the wedding party to stay. They really helped make our day perfect.
