Located on the East Island Highway, the Parksville Museum is easily accessible for you and your guests.

Our site features the beautifully restored 1911 Knox Heritage Church — a charming and intimate venue that has hosted many weddings and special ceremonies. With its original wooden pews, stained glass windows, warm wood-paneled ceiling, and historic bell tower, the church offers a timeless and authentic setting. Couples may also arrange to have a special song played on the bells following their ceremony, adding a memorable touch to the occasion.

The church is one of eight heritage buildings thoughtfully relocated and preserved on the museum grounds. The historic setting and landscaped property provide wonderful photo opportunities and a unique backdrop for your day.

Good to Know:

• The museum remains open to the public during regular operating hours (Thursday–Monday).

• During private bookings, “Private Event” signage is placed around the rented space to clearly designate event areas, while the remainder of the site remains open to the public. While we take care to mark and communicate event boundaries, we cannot guarantee that all visitors will fully observe posted signage.

• Our venue is best suited for ceremonies and photos. We do not have a large indoor reception space, and our meeting room only accommodates approximately 25–30 guests depending on setup.

• We are booking until the end of the next calendar year.
