So i was hesitant to write this review but I wish I would have known these things beforehand as a bride.
So the venue it self is absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and every one of my guests keeps talking about the lobster rolls.
So I decided to get a wedding coordinator for the day of because my experience with the venue coordinator was quite chaotic. She would say yes to things and not follow through. She was very very forgetful, i had to remind her a few times about which drinks I wanted, the ceremony time and to change the event sheet ( she would say she updated everything but actually didn't). I had the table layout made and she still set it up wrong my wedding coordinator had to fix it. Her communication skills were poor.
The day of unfortunately the power went out for 3 -4 hours? So it completely derailed the food, first dance, and couldn't do a game i had planned. I thought this was the first time occurrence so i felt bad for them too as im sure they weren’t expecting it. I come to find out that one of the servers said to one of my guests “ i hate when this happens, it’s not the first time”.
My DJ made more of an effort than the venue coordinator to fix the power by looking to buy a generator.
Once the power came back on we were given an extra hour of party time. Which we didn't even realize after the bill that we ended up spending double what we thought because of that extra drinking hour & extended cocktail hour.
We were given a 1000 dollar credit which honestly was not enough for the inconvenience and lack of professionalism.
My wedding coordinator told me the day of that this is the poorest run venue shes seen ( she works as a venue coordinator too at a winery for many years)
We made the best of it but it was still not a great experience.
