We had such an amazing experience planning our wedding with Maan Farms! Originally we were bouncing between a couple different dates and they were always more than accommodating.

They were incredible to work with. All professional, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. They were organized, responsive, and attentive to even the smallest details, which made the planning process so much less stressful. Especially with it being their busy time of year, I never felt that we were not a priority to them.

We had full access to both barns (one for reception and one for ceremony). We started setting up the day before and we finished taking everything down the day after. All the chairs and tables required were set up for us promptly so we could get in and start with our decorations!

They braved the rain with us and helped with everything they could up to the last minute.

We will always recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Have nothing but amazing things to say.

We had our wedding and reception at Maan Farms, and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for our day.
The food was outstanding—so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. The team was extremely well coordinated, attentive to every detail, and made the entire day run so smoothly. We never had to worry about a thing, which allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding.

We had an amazing November wedding at Maan Farms and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The venue has a beautiful rustic charm, and the larger Reception Barn was perfect for our 75 guests—spacious, comfortable, and cozy. We held our ceremony at the McKenzie Barn site, which gave us total peace of mind regardless of the weather. The optional heaters (available at an additional cost) were well worth it and kept everyone comfortable, and we were still able to enjoy the outdoor patio.

Aislinn, the lead wedding coordinator, is truly the secret sauce at Maan Farms. She is so lovely to work with - incredibly organized, and completely on top of every detail, which made the entire day feel seamless and stress-free.

The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, served hot, and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about the four-cheese mac and cheese! We also got stunning photos in the vineyard and at the Mount Baker site. It was exactly the fun, relaxed wedding day we hoped for, and the kids loved spending time at the Barnyard Adventureland. We highly recommend Maan Farms!

A great venue option for a rustic farm/country side wedding!

We had a great experience working with the Maan Farms team (Aislinn was super helpful) for a summer wedding with about 80 guests.

Advantages:
- The Mount Baker ceremony site has a beautiful mountain view and grassy setting with several ponds.
- The Antique Barn was perfect for our guest count and provided the rustic setting for the reception we were seeking.
- The food was delicious and prepared by the farm staff using local ingredients.
- There is a cool tractor and coach wagon that can be used to transport guest/wedding party to/from the wedding site and reception barn.
- You can bring your own alcohol! This saved us a lot of money and you just need to hire a bartender and get an event license.
- The coordinator (Aislinn) was there on the day of the event and was helpful with anything venue related.
- Great value! Many wedding venues are very expensive in today's conditions and the Maan Farms was reasonably priced.

Disadvantages:
- The venue was quite picky on how everything had to be cleaned after the event.
- The presentation of buffet food at the reception was simple/basic and could be improved. Pictures in advance of food presentation would have been helpful.

Maan Farms was a great choice for our wedding venue. Our guests were obsessed with the zipline and the bounce pillows, making cocktail hour truly remarkable. Aislinn, their wedding coordinator, is truly wonderful and if we had to do it all over again, we would book with Maan Farms every time. A wonderful venue and great wedding coordinator!

This venue is unlike any other. The location is gorgeous, and with full access to the barnyard activities - including a petting zoo, zipline, and jumping pillow - all our guests were fully entertained during cocktail hour. Our youngest guests told us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to! The food was phenomenal and the Maan Farms team were responsive, supportive and professional. Would definitely recommend!

We had our wedding here in June.

First, it’s a dream venue. It truly is a rustic farm with an adult playground next to it, and very pretty. Second, the food is fantastic. Our guests from NYC loved the venue.

Unfortunately, we found Maan management to be dishonest and rude to work with. We paid over 27,000 CAD for our wedding and found it to be more expensive for the lack of service. If you really really want a wedding there, I would avoid phone calls and keep all communications in email.

For us, we experienced the below:

1. A month after signing the contract, Maan management added several items in our contract that basically said the couple is responsible for all cleanup. This was not originally in the contract. Because it was too late to book another venue, we moved forward. Maan offered cleaning services for an additional $500.

2. Maan management thought I was white and said that cleanup is common in Asian weddings. I’m Asian.

3. According to our vendors, *three* Maan employees in charge of setup called in sick the venue the *day of* the wedding. Our coordinator set up all the tables herself, which was not her job. She also cleaned the entire venue by herself. It was ridiculous.

4. In an appeared attempt to keep our deposit, Maan farm management sent us pictures of their bar area after the wedding. They blamed us and our guests for the mess. Ironically, the bar is run by Maan staff and cleanup of the bar is listed in the invoice as responsible by Maan staff. We paid $1200 for bar services, provided our own liquor, and bought $500 of Maan alcohol (required by contract).

5. A week after the wedding, Maan also said guests vomited on the premises. We know our guests well, and no one mentioned vomiting on the premises. Maan also never provided photographs of the vomit. Vomit would have entitled them to the deposit, contractually.

6. Maan management said they would label our food with allergens over several conversations. On the *day of* the wedding, our coordinator was told by the Maan manager that “we don’t do that here”.

This is not everyone’s experience, but ours. Our wedding was a dream, but the behind the scenes mismanagement was a headache.

I'm happy we went with Maan Farms for our wedding. Brittany was very helpful answering questions all the way up to the day, and on the day of everything went smoothly. Our wedding was super kid-friendly and it was great because our guests had access to all of the fun activities around the farm as well. The food and wine were amazing of course, and everything was cleaned up promptly so we could start using the dance floor. There are also a ton of spots around the farm for taking photos, we were even able to go into the pumpkin patch and take some in there since we were having a Halloween themed wedding.
Very fun day overall!

Maan Farms had a gorgeous field with a mountain view and scenic water features, perfect for our wedding ceremony. They had delicious food for our wedding reception in their rustic barn conversion. It was great that they set up the chairs and tables for us. Brittney, the wedding co-ordinator was an excellent communicator throughout the whole planning process. We were very happy with our wedding there!

The only drawback was the combined cost of the venue, catering and bar tending and all of the extra add-ons, which seemed expensive for only 50 people. Weddings seem more expensive after the pandemic in general.
