Hey there! I'm Thomas, a wedding & engagement filmmaker based in Victoria BC :)

Here's a little bit about me and my current wedding + engagement package options:

• I’ve been creating cinematic wedding & engagement films for my clients, friends & family for over 7 years now. • For engagement films, I offer couples a chance to sit down before their big day to record their stories & histories, as well as their wedding & marriage dreams for the future. These interview-style videos have been a fantastic add-on to a wedding day when played at a reception or rehearsal, giving guests a short, romantic window into the starring couple's unique story. They are also great for sharing on social media and are a great time capsule and a keepsake that will last a lifetime!

• For wedding films, I focus on capturing the story of the day cinematically, with a focus on storytelling through music in the edit. I prefer to film “fly on the wall” style, and try to capture the wedding day candidly as it happens, rather than step in and try to set up too many moments myself (and maybe miss ones that might occur naturally along the way). Most wedding films I create end up being around 7 to 11 minutes based on the individual wedding’s events. I hope you’ll take a look through my existing content on my website to decide if a wedding film from me is right for you.

• I’ve included quotes for filming a wedding alone and delivering the raw footage via a hard drive, and another for editing a full wedding highlight film + edit options. Either way, I come with myself, my cameras (4k/1080p), tripods, audio recorder, lavalier on-body mics x2, and drone (weather/permit dependant) - and you’ll have me for the day as long as you’d like!

Here are my current wedding + engagement film package options:

ENGAGEMENT FILMS:

• 2500 CAD + travel

Engagement films include a relaxed, on-camera couple interview & b-roll shoot at a romantic location of your choosing, captured (ideally) at least 3-4 months before your wedding date, and delivered up to 2 weeks before the date of your wedding. Engagement films are usually 5-8 minutes and play great at a reception, rehearsal party, on social media, or for your personal keepsake collection.

WEDDING PACKAGES:

All packages are tax included and come with myself, my gear, and your full wedding day reserved for filming.

A) Wedding Filming + RAW Footage only:

• Wedding Videography Day Rate: $800
• Raw footage delivery on hard drive - mailed: $200
• Optional add-on: Complete ceremony & individual speech edits delivered in 1080p: +$500

B) Full Wedding Film Packages

Includes: Filming, Highlight Film Edit + Raw Ceremony & Speech Edits delivered in 1080p via google drive link.

• 3500 CAD - single videographer, under 6 month edit turnaround
• 5000 CAD - two videographers, under 3 month edit turnaround
• 7500 CAD - three videographers, under 4 weeks edit turnaround
• Optional add-on: Raw footage delivery on hard drive - mailed: (+$200)

+ TRAVEL EXPENSES (For locations requiring over 100km of travel from Victoria, BC)*:

*Substitutions can be made if you have access to travel or lodging options.

• Vehicle km Mileage from Victoria to __________ @ BC rate of 61c/km (there & back)
• 2 night hotel (usually night before wedding & night of): Base rate of $175 x 2 = $350
• Ferry costs for passenger w/ vehicle: $125/direction
• Flights or other specialty travel costs

Packages under $2000 require the total payment amount up front to book the filming date(s). Packages over $2000 require a 50% deposit to book the date(s), with the final 50% payment due 1 month before the first filming date. All packages are refundable if your plans change for any reason (less 15% hold/rebooking fees).
