Neville Wedding Stories

My husband and I got married on October 2nd, 2021 on the Sunshine Coast. About two or three weeks out from the wedding we decided we wanted a videographer to capture special moments throughout our day. Luckily, we came across Robert through social media and he was so flexible when it came to our last minute booking.

Our budget was smaller and Robert did his best to work within our budget. He went above and beyond what we had expected him to capture and we love looking back at our special day.

We didn’t have time to meet Robert before hand, but we didn’t have to worry as Robert independently navigated our wedding venue and adjusted as needed. It was great working with Robert and he delivered our video content within a matter of days.

The Neville crew took family photos for us and they turned out amazing! The posed pictures turned out amazing but the candid photos were absolutely perfect! They were able to capture beautiful moments with my daughter and I. I would hire them to shoot any of my events and I plan to! Their stellar professionalism and product definitely earned them a lifetime customer with me and my family.

Joy and Rob were the perfect team to make our day timeless. Our wedding theme was: keep it easy but memorable, allowing for everyone to let their hair down. We wanted our guest to feel like they were accompanying us at our local watering hole, where comfort and familiarity would grease the day with the sufficient ease to allow everyone to feel like we weren’t going to be needing to check off every box on the standard wedding photo op playbook.

We gathered a few of our most special people at Vancouver’s international airport for a noon and brunch wedding before jetting off to the South Pacific.

Rob and Joy, with their years of experience of doing large, demanding weddings, were tasked at trying to capture the love that surrounded us without the customary pauses needed to accommodate a hair out of place or chin needing a slight turn to capture a worthy backdrop. That’s perfect for many weddings……. but it wasn’t us!!

These two gems went to work immediately to create a masterpiece; despite the limited canvass space- a veritable tough lists of, ‘please don’t’ or ‘ PHOTO, oh no, not now’- that we were able to provide, they worked collaboratively and very flexibly to ensure that every moment worth remembering would be etch in time, there for us to cherish forever. As the afternoon progressed, Joy’s camera scanned the room, swooping stealthy in and out documenting each smile and moment between family and friend alike. Joy would sometimes dance or charm her way within a small group conversation bringing out the best in people, allowing a little more authenticity to emerge, making the moment come alive inside a photo yet to be born.

Rob’s videography work was the cherry on top of our perfect day. The masterful skill of weaving various wedding moments into a cogent story that utilized song, audio, and theme ( an airport’s chill lounge) to incapsulate the story of us was nothing short of brilliant.

Together, this couple full of southern personality, and a love for a ‘good party’ will listen, consult, plan, and deliver the wedding that you dreamed of…. not the wedding some may think you need, only the wedding that speaks to the core of who the couple is: a unique day that will remain inimitable and magical for an eternity.

We are so pleased we chose them. I didn't think artists could be so professional and SO MUCH FUN! Great ideas, a beautiful video…amazing memories. Almost makes us want to get married again.

These guys are the actual cherry on top. If you’re like me, you only get married once in your lifetime so going in you’re not really sure how to behave with professional vendors or what to expect. They are in fact with you the whole day.

These guys not only made me feel comfortable and happy the entire day but by the end of the day I was happy and proud to call them friends. Beyond that, they are still my good friends to this day. If that doesn’t show you what an impact they can make in just a few of hours I’m not sure what I’m writing will do much better. Oh, and I still cry watching the video that was made for us. And I’m definitely but a crier.
