Lumina came highly recommended by my friend/coworker, who also used them for video last summer (Erica and Jonathan!). Krista and her team were fantastic to work with. They were so flexible with all our requests, kept us on time and captured our wedding day and engagement shoot perfectly. It was definitely one of our more expensive vendors but it was so worth it. I was a bit nervous about having cameras in our face throughout the day and I might find it distracting but after seeing our wedding video and photo sneak peaks, I was shocked to see how they were able to capture so many candid shots and I didn't notice them at all LOL

My husband and I are coming up on our one year wedding anniversary and I'd be remiss not to give the biggest shout out to Krista and Jared at Lumina Weddings for capturing our day so beautifully! Krista, Jared and Luke were the best videographers team, we could ask for. My husband wasn't keen on the idea of having a videographer at the wedding. Thinking that it will be awkward and fake to have to act in front of the camera. However Jared and Luke were so inconspicuous and yet they managed to capture all the right moments enabling us to enjoy the day naturally. Krista was so attentive and understanding of our vision, apprehension and need, she made us feel that our needs will be listened and met. And they were.
We received our video a little bit under one month after the wedding which allowed us to relive that day again and again. Choose them, they are the best.

We hired Lumina to do both photo and video coverage of our wedding. I don’t have enough words to explain what an amazing job Krista and her team at Lumina did. Not just for our wedding, but for the entire two years leading up to it. It all started with Krista getting back to me immediately via both text and email when I submitted my inquiry. If you’re familiar with planning your own wedding, you know that often vendors take days to respond and sometimes they don’t respond at all. Not in this case. From the very beginning Krista would always respond to me so quickly which made my planning process so much smoother, and she was able to work with me on my budget so that I didn’t have to go over budget to work with them. Lumina quickly became my favorite vendor that we hired for our wedding day. We got engaged in 2020 during peak covid, and planned our wedding for 2022. For two years I would randomly reach out to Krista with my questions, worries, plans, and she was always amazing at putting my mind at ease and offering great suggestions. My entire wedding process wouldn’t have been the same without her!

We first worked with Krista and Celine for our engagement session, which quickly started feeling like a fun hangout with new friends. The photos we received afterwards were so beautiful I was in shock. I don’t always love how I look in photos, but I loved every single photo we got back from them.

On the day of the wedding we worked with Krista, Celine, another Krista, Kas, and Jon. Each of them were absolutely amazing to work with and so friendly! My husband and I are pretty uncomfortable being filmed/photographed, but this team made us feel much more at ease and comfortable with it. Throughout the day we felt like they all became our friends. Choosing the right videographer for our wedding was not easy because there are so many options. We viewed a number of videos from various videographers and created a short list. We chose Lumina because from the first meeting, Krista was so professional and truly cared about the kind of film we wanted for our wedding film. Before the wedding, Krista and the ever talented Jared took the time to communicate with us about music, and what mattered for us on our film. Unlike many other film artists, who will make the film they see fit, Krista and Jared sought our input to make the film that we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Jared and team worked SO INCREDIBLY HARD in blazing heat to capture our day. The short film was amazing, but the longer film was absolutely stunning and took our breath away. We had the pleasure to use Lumina for our small wedding (elopement) and what can we say about this amazing team! We booked Lumina after a careful selection as we thought they would be best fit to tell our story. We can't believe how of amazing job they did. The shots, the editing, the story all fit us. As we did not get to have guests at our wedding this really made people feel like they were apart of our day.

They have us lots of options on music choice and helped give us an outline of how our final video could look before it was even the wedding day. Their ability to tell a story, mix in music and get the incredible shots for our wedding were great. While they were really visible when we arrived it was crazy to see their stealth like skills and not even notice them filming us during the ceremony. I say that in the best possible way. Especially after seeing the final video and all the shots they got where we didn't even see them.
