One of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding was to hire Lumina Weddings as our wedding videographer. My husband and I actually made a last minute decision to hire videography services because initially, we erroneously thought that the videography process would be “extra work” and perhaps overwhelm us on an already busy day. But in working with Lumina, we were completely wrong. Our experience from start to finish was seamless, comfortable and a truly fun experience.

From the moment we met Krista and Jared, we clicked and knew we wanted to work with them. In the consultation process, they were thoughtful, and detailed oriented, and asked us relevant questions to understand the general vibe and style of the video.

Throughout the day, they were professional, kind and most importantly, had the best, most positive vibes. It was a joy to spend the entire day with them. They captured all of our meaningful moments and made us feel comfortable.

Their care and attention to all the important details and in piecing the moments together in the final video completely blew us away and exceeded our expectations. They shot the most beautiful pieces that looked truly cinematic! They were able to create such a gorgeous and timeless wedding video for us. Our family and friends were obsessed and all commented on how our wedding video looked like a movie trailer! Their work is outstanding.

One of the most important qualities we looked for in hiring any vendor was whether the vendor resonated with us - because these were people that would spending the entire day (12+ hours) with us and we are SO glad we decided to work with great people like Krista and Jared.

We had an amazing experience with Lumina. Krista was an incredible communicator leading up to the event, listening to all of our likes and dislikes, and our day of videographers were so pleasant, kind, and knew how to appropriately guide us to get the right shots, without being overbearing and still allowing for natural moments. The editing process took so much quicker than anticipated and we were absolutely obsessed with our video. We got the 3-5 minute highlight and felt like Lumina captured every single moment we needed to make for a captivating final product. Working with Lumina Wedding P&V was an incredible experience. We have to call out Krista who was with us since day 1. She was always providing quick and clear communication making us feel less nervous whenever we had questions come up. She never once made us feel that we asked too many questions. Krista addressed all our concerns and went above and beyond to help us (my parent’s couldn’t make it to the wedding last minute and Krista coordinated with another trusted vendor to live stream our wedding!) We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with.

When my husband and I saw the videos, our jaw just dropped and a few tears were shed. They way they were able to capture our day was unbelievable. I'm definitely feeling wedding blues but the films take me back there right away and I'm definitely thankful we chose the Lumina package - these are memories we'll cherish forever.

Like my title suggests, look no further. If we were to do a future event, we'd hire them Lumina again in a heartbeat.

To anyone feeling apprehensive about being photographed, filmed, or spending the money, we can’t recommend Lumina enough.

Lumina came highly recommended by my friend/coworker, who also used them for video last summer (Erica and Jonathan!). Krista and her team were fantastic to work with. They were so flexible with all our requests, kept us on time and captured our wedding day and engagement shoot perfectly. It was definitely one of our more expensive vendors but it was so worth it. I was a bit nervous about having cameras in our face throughout the day and I might find it distracting but after seeing our wedding video and photo sneak peaks, I was shocked to see how they were able to capture so many candid shots and I didn't notice them at all LOL

My husband and I are coming up on our one year wedding anniversary and I'd be remiss not to give the biggest shout out to Krista and Jared at Lumina Weddings for capturing our day so beautifully! Krista, Jared, and the entire Lumina team is absolutely first class in wedding photography and videography. From the first moment we connected with Lumina every interaction was professional, creative, insightful and just downright fun! I mean this in a good way, but the Lumina team really felt part of the wedding (and not 'just' a vendor there to capture photos), effortlessly gliding amongst the guests and capturing all the right moments throughout. Don't mistake the fun and comfortable environment for being low quality either - the photos and videos absolutely turned out better than we could ever have imagined, bar none. We cannot emphasize how much value we've found in the videos, re-watching and reliving our special day and catching minute details we missed on the day.
